I don't know if I am doing something wrong but I've had these up for over a month and haven't caught one single moth. In fact I have seen them fly right past the traps. Mind you I don't have many, but I do have them. I see one or two almost every night. It's aggravating because I purchased like 12 traps to get the free shipping. So far they have been a complete waste of money. Very disappointed because I have been dealing with these moths for years. This was my last hope.Response From Perky-Pet®Jennifer : Consumer Relations Representative
We recommend placing the traps at eye level in the closets and rooms to be protected. For an average size room, we recommend one or two traps.

Review RateExcellent Product
Delighted to eliminate moths before damage. Silent and effective. And managed to eliminate some other bugs of which I was unaware were living in my apartment! Delivery and packaging were good.
I love the Safer moth traps! We purchase them every few months and they help control the moth problem at our house. My only complaint is that I wish they came in larger mutli-pak options than 16 so that they would be even more cost effective. Thank you for making a safe product for this issue.
Review RateGood product
A good bell whether of a problem, but won't fix it.
Review RateDon't know yet

Review RateClothes moth traps
Within a few hours there were a few moths in each of the traps I set out. I haven't seen any more moths flying around in a few weeks. Your price was great, delivery was fast and the product seems to be effective.
Review RateReally helpful product
My sister gave me one of these moth traps - I was surprised at how many moths it actually attracted, and it made me think that perhaps I have a bigger problem than I thought, so I purchased several more to put in other rooms of the house. We felt very comfortable with the product being safe around animals and children. Thank you for designing this!
Review RateGreat Trap
These traps are the BEST!!!.
Review RateGood work in progress
When I finally realized that the product was alerting me to the closets with moth problems, I was able to address. Exterminator recommended that keep using to decrease the male population. I am hoping it works as well as others have indicated.
Review RateSure beats mothballs and works well.
This is the second year I have used this.I started after a 2 year infestation before I looked them up on line. This was in the middle of the summer. No moths this winter, but when they started showing up again this Spring I put some up in every room. I have caught some in every trap and discovered I have 2 kinds. The small white ones and a bit larger brown ones.Lucky me.Anyways plan on using the traps all summer.

All About Insects the Clothes Moth Trap Controls
The clothes moth is only destructive during the larval stage. Clothing, upholstery, curtains and other furnishings may be ruined by the holes created when the larvae feed. In fact, just about anything made of natural fibers is potentially susceptible to damage by clothes moth larvae.

Natural & Organic Controls for Clothes Moths
Moth pheromone traps often called Clothes Moth Traps can help in controlling clothes moths.
Moth pheromone traps (clothes moth traps) can be used to alert you to moth problems and to monitor the level of infestation. Male meal moths are attracted to the pheromone and enter the trap where it is caught and cannot escape.
The trap should be placed in a clothes closet or area containing upholstery. Carefully read and follow all instructions completely for safe and effective use.
At the first sign of an infestation, place a trap in the home to monitor the level of infestation. Continuous monitoring is extremely important when you have a moth infestation to check the degree of infestation.
Why Choose a Natural Solution?
Natural solutions break down quickly to their natural elements. They are preferable to chemical pesticides that leave residuals where they are sprayed causing long-term detrimental effects on the environment.
Clean clothes, the vacuum, tight fitting storage containers, extreme heat, and freezing temperatures are all methods that can be used to control clothes moths.
Take clothes to the dry cleaners to have the dirt and perspiration removed. Vacuum carpets, rugs, upholstery, baseboards and any other areas that may contain clothes moths. The lids of containers used to store clothing or fabric materials should fit very tightly so the tiny hatchlings cannot crawl inside.
Extreme heat can kill clothes moths if the temperature is high enough -- something that may be accomplished by washing clothes above 120 degrees F. or placing them in a hot attic for about 30 minutes.
On the opposite end, freezing may also kill the clothing moth if the temperature is below 18 degrees F. and the material is kept at that temperature for several days. Note: If you are freezing woolen materials, be sure to remove as much air from the plastic freezer bag as possible.
Take clothes to the dry cleaners to have the dirt and perspiration removed when they become soiled or dirty. Vacuum carpets, rugs, upholstery, baseboards and any other areas on a regular basis, especially if you have noticed symptoms of an infestation.
When placing clothing and other materials in a container, carefully inspect the lid and the container -- the lid should fit very tightly so the tiny hatchlings cannot crawl inside - this should be done each time you are storing fabric materials, particularly woolen clothing and upholstery.
Extreme heat or freezing can be applied when you find larvae, eggs, or fecal matter on clothing or fabrics.
Indoor Moth FAQs
Q: Why are moths attracted to my clothes stored in my closet?
A: Larvae of the clothes moths cause the damage, feasting on clothing, mostly wool and fur clothing rugs, furniture. A female moth is attracted to clothing having food stains or perspiration. She lays eggs on the clothing. When the eggs hatch, the larvae feed on the fibers in the clothes.
