These features are examples of the great resources we provide at perkypet.com:
Q: What makes this a "Heavy-Duty" bird feeder?
A: This feeder is built to last! The feeder ports and lid are die-cast zinc, which is impossible to chew through. The seed reservoir is a tough plastic polycarbonate that's shatterproof. Should something happen to this hefty feeder, it's also backed by a lifetime limited warranty from Perky-Pet®.
Q: How can I keep squirrels away from my feeders?
A: We hit upon the best methods for squirrel-proofing a feeder in our Squirrels 101 article at the perkypet.com Learning Center. Some basic concepts include picking the right location for a feeder and adding baffles above and below your bird feeders.
Q: How should I store my bird seed?
A: Bird seed can spoil if it is not stored properly. It can also fall prey to curious squirrels and other pests if not protected from gnawing animals. Your best bet is to store your bird seed in a cool, dry space such as a shed or cellar. Further, invest in a galvanized metal can to stop any animal bandits from feasting on your stored bird seed.
