Lyric® Supreme Bird Seed and Perky-Pet® Squirrel-Be-Gone® I Bird Feeder Bundle

Lyric® Supreme Bird Seed and Perky-Pet® Squirrel-Be-Gone® I Bird Feeder Bundle

Birds won't be able to resist this combination of a tasty seed blend from Lyric® and a squirrel-fighting bird feeder from Perky-Pet®.

The primary element of this bundle is the Perky-Pet® Squirrel-Be-Gone® I Bird Feeder, a feeder engineered to draw your favorite feeder birds while limiting access to squirrels. With its durable metal frame and hanging cable, you won't worry about squirrels gnawing through this feeder. Most importantly, the weight-activated feeder shuts off seed access when a squirrel climbs on it. This keeps the interior seed tower safe from squirrels, but allows birds to feast whenever they visit.

The feeder, which can hold up to 6 lb of seed, also features u-shaped perches, which birds prefer. These perches allow greater maneuverability and access angles when they're selecting seeds.

Wild Birds will love:

  • 8 feeding stations
  • U-shaped perches for easier feeding
  • Easy access to a continuous supply of food

You'll love:

  • Keeping squirrels away from your feeder
  • The metal frame that's chew-resistant
  • Watching your feathered friends for hours

The second part of this value bundle is a 4.5 lb bag of Lyric® Supreme Wild Bird Mix, a high-energy blend of bird seed that can attract a wide variety of birds to your feeders.

Among the birds who will love this food blend: Woodpeckers, Titmice, Blue Titmouse, Tufted Titmouse, Grosbeaks Evening Grosbeak, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Painted Buntings, Jays, Blue Jay, Stellar's Jay, Nuthatches, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Towhee, Rufous-sided Towhee, Spotted Towhee, Chickadees, Black-capped Chickadee, Carolina Chickadee, Chestnut-backed Chickadee, and Northern Cardinals

Inside this seed blend are many wild bird favorites, including:

  • Black Oil Sunflower Seed
  • Canary Seed
  • Cracked Corn
  • Nyjer®
  • Pecans, Pistachios
  • Safflower Seed
  • Shelled Peanuts

Good customer service!! By Bee2
Ordered several bird feeders & bags of seed. Upon receiving our order, it was severely damaged. We were so disappointed, but not for long! After calling customer service everything was replaced within just a few days. What more could you ask for?

Q: How often should I clean this feeder?

A: Bird feeders should be cleaned about every two weeks to remove stale and moldy debris that can accumulate in the bottom of the feeder. To clean this feeder, remove the lid, empty out any remaining seeds or debris, wash with a warm soap-and-water solution and allow to drip-dry!

When will my favorite birds migrate?

A: Migration times depend on two primary conditions. First, each species of bird has its own internal clock that tells it when it's time to migrate. Secondly, bird migration varies by latitude -- the farther north or south a bird is makes a difference when it leaves for better conditions. Learn more about this phenomenon in our special report on North American bird migration.

How do I keep squirrels off my bird feeders?

A: Even though squirrels are super cute, many people don't like them raiding bird feeders. They can scare away birds and they tend to hog all the seed for themselves. To keep squirrels away from a feeder, mount it or hang it away from areas where it can jump to the feeder. Add baffles below (for pole-mounted feeders) or above (for hanging feeders) your bird feeders. You can also mix cayenne powder with your bird seed, which makes it unpalatable to the squirrels. Here are even more squirrel-proofing ideas.
