This is an awesome gadget. I can fill my feeder twice (once I have filled it with seed). It is sturdy. In fact, I weigh about 140 pounds, and I can sit on it under a tall bush where I have a feeder, and fill the feeder. I have serious knee issues, so I can't kneel like I used to, so this is VERY helpful.. i.e., more pluses than simply have convenience to fill, take to yard, and pour. One thing to note - if you have a very small opening on feeder, you will need a funnel. The spout is 1 1/4" wide on outside diameter which makes it difficult to fill one of my feeders.
