Cleaning: Dirty feeders spread disease. We recommend disinfecting your nectar feeders every
three to five days, or more frequently if you notice your nectar has become cloudy. Do not put your feeder in the
dishwasher as the high temperatures can permanently damage the feeder parts. Soak all parts in a 50/50 solution of
white vinegar and water. Use a bird feeder brush to brush away grime inside the feeder.
I have purchased about 10 of these. I like the size for the busier seasons. I also like glass. I have had quite a few break on the plastic part that holds the nectar where it screws to the glass. It gets brittle and eventually a piece breaks off and it can no longer screw to the glass.
I pursued trying to get replacement pieces but the are not offered. So the rest of the feeder is still fine, but not useable. What a waste!
The White flowers BLEW AWAY IN THE WIND and then the purple rubber plugs in the flower holes disintegrated over a 2 year period!! (from what? exposure to SUGAR WATER or gentle hand washing with Dawn?). & I paid in excess of $30 for this feeder!! The jar, THE TOP PORTION OF THE FEEDER is glass,---but the all important bottom PAN PORTION pieces are made of hard PLASTIC and the sofe flowers & purple nubs are made of some sort of Non-durrable Silicone! Even if you could replace these soft parts I would be concerned that bits of it would get into the hummers bodies,, and it's STILL AWFUL to CLEAN THESE BITS!
The feeder FIVE flower feeding stations and it is the MOST HORRIBLE design I'VE EVER SEEN! Very difficult to clean these little rubber parts -- I used a pipe cleaner and am always very gentle with them (& I don't mind doing things for my Hummers!!!) -- but it become a dreaded chore !
I bougjt this feeder because it was the last feeder they had for sale -- at plus $30. I wish you would email me a a gift card for $30 Plus for all the aggravation and time this feeder has stolen from me! I thowing it in the trash as we speak!!
I'm going to go and purchase a different brand -- different type. Don't waste your money!
Bought glass humming bird feeds for durability but the plastic part are cheap and don't last. replacement parts not being available is unacceptable...... Do better More Birds.
Expensive price for a glass feeder and then use cheap rubber parts that fall apart. I take my feeder apart and wash every time I refill it. The little piece that the flower attaches to before it is inserted into the base of the feeder is junk.

This is the best hummingbird feeder we have ever used. It is very easy to clean and fill. It is very durable. We have used ours for 3 or 4 seasons. You can remove all the plastic and put the glass in the dishwasher. It is very easy to clean all the parts. We have 30-50 hummingbirds. It feeds 7 at a time.
We no longer sell replacement parts on our website. You may find them through retailers such as Amazon.

I really like these feeders-primarily due to the design of the bottles. They’re easy to clean and fill. However, I need new feeder tops. They were mistakenly put in the dishwasher and are now misshapen. Are replacement parts available?

Bought two of these at the beginning of this year. They are well made and easy to clean...,BUT , they leak!
Do you have replacement parts for the soft ports? They are deteriorating and it's the only part that needs to be replaced. Great feeder otherwise.

That’s really poor customer service that you do not have replacement parts! This has been the best feeder I have ever owned and now you tell us the only way is to order an entirely new feeder! That’s ridiculous.

Those little white flowers and purple inserts on the More Birds® Hummingbird Feeder are decorative feeding ports and are not sold separately by the brand. You can check online marketplaces (like home & garden parts sellers or hobby stores) for replacement hummingbird feeder flowers/feeding ports that match the size and style, but there aren’t official replacement parts sold by More Birds® for those specific pieces.

Can I buy the plastic detachable base separately? The glass bottle is fine, but the plastic base is broken due to mice eating the white flowers and soft silicone ports while it was stored over the winter.
I have had the feeder for 2 years and is my best hummingbird feeder by far.
