Hummingbirds easily feed from the 5 bee guard ports, but bees and wasps are stopped right in their tracks. The Diamond features a spiral, glass nectar bottle and a colorful red top and base. The wide bottle opening and detachable flat base make filling easy and cleaning a breeze. The built-in ant moat stops ants right in their tracks, keeping precious nectar fresh for hungry hummingbirds. With a 30 oz nectar capacity, the Diamond provides plenty of nectar to keep hummingbirds happy and coming back for more! For best results, use More Birds® Bird Health+™ nectar, which simulates natural nectar found in flowers.
Cleaning: Dirty feeders spread disease. We recommend disinfecting your nectar feeders every three to five days, or more frequently if you notice your nectar has become cloudy. Do not put your feeder in the dishwasher as the high temperatures can permanently damage the feeder parts. Soak all parts in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Use a bird feeder brush to brush away grime inside the feeder.

I would give this feeder a higher score if it wasn't for the fact that they don't sell replacement parts. The feeding flowers deteriorate after about a year so yo are forced to buy a whole new feeder.

The feeding flowers can experience wear over time due to regular exposure to weather and hummingbird activity. To help extend their lifespan, we recommend cleaning the feeder regularly with mild soap and water and storing it indoors during extended periods of non-use. This feeder has a flaw that is the only reason I’m giving it a 3 star rating. The flaw is this. The purple plugs that retain the flowers (ie. The bee guards) and allow access to the nectar through the small hole in the plug do not hold up. Hummingbird beaks are sharp and over time their beak picks away ant the rubber plug and they lose their ability to retain the flowers in place. The plugs fall out as do the flowers and now you have a gaping hole where bees, wasps, etc. can enter the nectar reservoir. I have had one feeder replaced by Perky Pet and now they want me to select another model of similar price. I appreciate them replacing the entire feeder but if they could send me a handful of plugs the problem, while not solved, extends the life of the feeder for a long time. I really like this large capacity feeder but when they don’t last a year because of a design flaw, something has to be corrected. Either make plugs available or include extra plugs in the packaging.

I have 5 of the 30 oz diamond glass feeders. Some are 3-4 years old, some are 1 year old. Like others, after a couple of years the soft inserts in the flower pedals rot away. Mfg doesn't offer spare parts, but the generic replacements on Amazon work fine. This year had to go elsewhere as I needed a couple of bigger feeders. Finally found some 80 oz feeders elsewhere. Not glass, and not as nice looking.

I have purchased about 10 of these. I like the size for the busier seasons. I also like glass. I have had quite a few break on the plastic part that holds the nectar where it screws to the glass. It gets brittle and eventually a piece breaks off and it can no longer screw to the glass.
I pursued trying to get replacement pieces but the are not offered. So the rest of the feeder is still fine, but not useable. What a waste!
The White flowers BLEW AWAY ...

The White flowers BLEW AWAY IN THE WIND and then the purple rubber plugs in the flower holes disintegrated over a 2 year period!! (from what? exposure to SUGAR WATER or gentle hand washing with Dawn?). & I paid in excess of $30 for this feeder!! The jar, THE TOP PORTION OF THE FEEDER is glass,---but the all important bottom PAN PORTION pieces are made of hard PLASTIC and the sofe flowers & purple nubs are made of some sort of Non-durrable Silicone! Even if you could replace these soft parts I would be concerned that bits of it would get into the hummers bodies,, and it's STILL AWFUL to CLEAN THESE BITS!
The feeder FIVE flower feeding stations and it is the MOST HORRIBLE design I'VE EVER SEEN! Very difficult to clean these little rubber parts -- I used a pipe cleaner and am always very gentle with them (& I don't mind doing things for my Hummers!!!) -- but it become a dreaded chore !
I bougjt this feeder because it was the last feeder they had for sale -- at plus $30. I wish you would email me a a gift card for $30 Plus for all the aggravation and time this feeder has stolen from me! I thowing it in the trash as we speak!!
I'm going to go and purchase a different brand -- different type. Don't waste your money!
Expensive price for a glass ...

Expensive price for a glass feeder and then use cheap rubber parts that fall apart. I take my feeder apart and wash every time I refill it. The little piece that the flower attaches to before it is inserted into the base of the feeder is junk.
Product leaks. To repair I shaved off some plastic as shown on my sketch. ( see attached photos.)

This is the best hummingbird feeder we have ever used. It is very easy to clean and fill. It is very durable. We have used ours for 3 or 4 seasons. You can remove all the plastic and put the glass in the dishwasher. It is very easy to clean all the parts. We have 30-50 hummingbirds. It feeds 7 at a time.

Do you have replacement parts for the soft ports? They are deteriorating and it's the only part that needs to be replaced. Great feeder otherwise.

That’s really poor customer service that you do not have replacement parts! This has been the best feeder I have ever owned and now you tell us the only way is to order an entirely new feeder! That’s ridiculous.

Where might I be able to buy the little white flowers and purple inserts? Love everything about the feeders except those. They break down after a year or two.

Those little white flowers and purple inserts on the More Birds® Hummingbird Feeder are decorative feeding ports and are not sold separately by the brand. You can check online marketplaces (like home & garden parts sellers or hobby stores) for replacement hummingbird feeder flowers/feeding ports that match the size and style, but there aren’t official replacement parts sold by More Birds® for those specific pieces.
