The More Birds® Mason Jar Hummingbird Feeder features a beautiful brushed bronze finish and
aqua-tinted antique
glass design that give it a vintage feel. The wide opening and flat bottle make it easy to fill, and the feeder
disassembles into three pieces for convenient cleaning. The Mason Jar features 5 metal flower
feeding ports in polished red, as well as a metal perch ring that provides hummingbirds a place to rest while
feeding. A built-in hanger is included for easy hanging. With a 25 oz capacity, the Mason Jar
provides plenty of nectar to keep hummingbirds happy and coming
back for more!
Cleaning: Dirty feeders spread disease. We recommend disinfecting your nectar feeders every
three to five days, or more frequently if you notice your nectar has become cloudy. Do not put your feeder in the
dishwasher as the high temperatures can permanently damage the feeder parts. Soak all parts in a 50/50 solution of
white vinegar and water. Use a bird feeder brush to brush away grime inside the feeder.
The metal feeding part got super rusted from the inside. The outside of the feeder stayed perfectly clean. But the inside/underside where the liquid feed is coming in contact with is completely rusted. I need a replacement dish. Preferably in plastic. But, I can't seem to find a replacement part in their website. Very disappointing.
Thank you for this feedback. We're sorry to hear that this happened to your feeder. Replacement parts are not available for this model. It has a one year replacement policy.

I simply love these feeders and rotate 8 every day in and out to keep birds happy and coming back for more , just like a few here I also have tops rusting but they are in the 2nd year and have been flawless to fill and my birds love them , they are still very usable but i think being able to replace the top and or bottom would be a huge bonus
Surprised the jars aren't made out of heat resistant glass.

The hummingbirds and I both really liked this feeder. I will agree with the other comments that rust is a problem on the metal top where the florets are. I will also add that they really mean it when they say not to put it in the dishwasher. I thought it would be safe to put the glass jar in the dishwasher but unfortunately it cracked. After reading all the comments from people who cracked the jars by putting nectar in it too soon, I would suggest they make the jars out of heat resistant glass. Really surprised they aren't as most everyday jars are.
Thank you for sharing this feedback with us. We have shared your comments with the Product Manager for further review. None of our feeders are recommended or designed to be washed through a dish washer.

Leaks horribly.

Leaks horribly. I have nectar all over, it should be called an ant feeder.
We are sorry to hear that your feeder is leaking! Be sure to check that the base is tight, and that the bottle neck threads line up correctly to help prevent leaking. For best results, we recommend hanging the feeder in the shade as well as out of high traffic or windy areas. Feel free to give us a call at 855-737-5973 for more tips and tricks!

I really liked this hummingbird ...

I really liked this hummingbird feeder and used it once before the deer knocked it over and broke it. I would love to get a replacement for the glass since the base is still in perfect condition. I thought it would be easy to replace but so far nothing fits but the original jar. Can I order just the glass?
Really wanted to love this feeder and at first the birds and I did. But after a while the bottom started to rust which contaminates the food and keeps the birds away. I wish I could find a replacement in plastic or stainless!
We're sorry to hear your feeder's base has rusted! Please contact us at 855-737-5973 for information regarding our replacement policy, we're happy to help.

Leaked very badly

I wasn't able to use them as liquid leaked between the plastic tray and the metal cover, so they are kindly being replaced with another brand.
After a month of use, this is the best of the 6 different hummingbird feeders.
1. The ease of cleaning beats all the narrow mouth feeders
2. There are perches so the hummingbirds can rest while feeding
3. The feeding bowl itself is shallow so when the level of nectar is low, the hummingbirds can still access it. I live in Texas and the temperatures are hot enough to need to change the nectar every day or so
4. Very pretty in the light
Can I purchase the base for the Mason Jar Hummingbird Feeder 25 oz? My jar is still good but the base is cracking and falling apart.
