How often do the pods need to be changed?

More Birds® Nectar Pods can last outside for up to 2 weeks depending on the weather. Replace pods more often in hot weather. If not empty, we recommend weekly replacement as a rule of thumb to prevent spoilage.

Where does the red color from if it's "not dye"?

The red color is an all-natural color found in fruits and vegetables. Does not contain any red dye #40.

What type of plastic is the pod made of?
