Review Ratedifficult to clean
Worked fine during the spring and summer and no bees were able to get in, but I agree with the previous review that the base should be two parts because I'm not sure how to properly clean and drain it for winter storage. Also, in spite of its location under a 3 foot overhang on the North side of the house, the orange plastic faded badly and doesn't look very nice after only one season's use.Response From Perky-Pet®Jennifer : Consumer Relations Representative
We apologize for this experience. To clean, we recommend placing a handful of uncooked rice in the reservoir, add water and shake. The rice will go to the hard to reach areas and help to clean the feeder.

Review RateGood but could be better
The birds love the feeder and I no longer have bees getting into the nectar. However, the base design makes it very difficult to clean. Please think about making the base two parts that can be opened for easier cleaningResponse From Perky-Pet®Anthony : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateI would not recommend this feeder. It does not seal tightly as do the Hummingbird feeders.
Within the past week I purchased the Perky Pet Oriole Feeder 24 ounce capacity. I followed the directions and placed the feeder on a paper towel prior to hanging it outside from a shepherd's hook. I was disappointed to find that it leaked from the bottom where the perches are located. Since I thought I had a defected product my husband went ahead and purchased a second one. The same thing happened. Now I have to return two of the feeders to Wal-Mart where I purchased them.Response From Perky-Pet®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative
Perky-Pet® strives to create high-quality feeders for our customers and the birds to enjoy. We regret to hear that what was received did not meet these expectations.
When the bottle is tightly secured to the base, and the feeder is turned upright quickly to create a vacuum, it should not leak. Our feeders are covered by a 30 day return policy and a one year replacement warranty.
