Unique Top-Fill Design for Easy Filling
No more messes and no more spills! Our unique feeder features patented Top-Fill technology so that filling is never a hassle. Simply remove the lid and pour 32 oz of nectar into the wide-mouth opening to get your feeder up and running – there’s no need to invert the bottle!
Feeding Ports Inspired by Nature
Hummingbirds are accustomed to imbibing nectar from flowers. That’s why we’ve developed this feeder with soft, flexible petunia-inspired feeding ports to offer a more natural look and feel. The color and realistic flower shape are perfect for attracting hummers, while the five ports ensure there's enough room for multiple birds to dine simultaneously.
Naturally Keeps Out Bees
With this feeder, there’s no need for an added bee guard. The specially designed feeding ports feature a long tapered “stem” that prevents bees from gaining access to the nectar, while hummingbirds will have no trouble at all! It’s a natural way of keeping out pesky bees without adding extra parts for you to clean.
Removable Perches
Each of the five feeding stations features a removable perch, so you can hang your feeder with or without them. By using the feeder with the perches on, you can give your hummingbird friends a place to rest while they dine. Or, if your hummingbird feeders are frequently plagued by woodpeckers or other unwanted birds, you can use the feeder without perches. Hummingbirds are able to hover while they feed, but other birds are not.
Comes Apart For Easy Cleaning
Hummingbirds prefer to visit fresh, clean feeding stations. To make that easier, this feeder disassembles for effortless cleaning. Easily separate the base, bottle and lid. You can even pull apart the base and remove the feeding ports! Remember to clean your feeder at least once per week with a mild soap and water solution to prevent mildew buildup; clean more often in hot weather.
Gasket Prevents Leaks
If you’ve ever walked outside to find drops of nectar on the ground from a leaky hummingbird feeder, you know how frustrating it can be. Issues like those are exactly why we’ve created this feeder with a gasket in the base. It creates a nice tight seal so there’s no more leaks!
Note: Feeders may loosen during shipment. Before filling for the first time, tighten the bottle onto the base to ensure no leaking.

These feeders look and operate beautifully but they do NOT disassemble completely, preventing proper cleaning and maintenance.
Although the glass and plates come off easily, the sponge and “gasket” ring parts do not.
This prevents a proper cleaning under the sponge and in the gasket areas, allowing mold to grow and kill hummingbirds after a while.
I’ve forced them off on one of my feeders and this obviously meant I had to break a part of the mechanism which means the feeder doesn’t work properly anymore. This may seem like a waste of a feeder, but I sure wasn’t going to infect and kill my hummingbirds just because I was too lazy to clean the equipment properly.
I’ve had to care for dying hummingbirds dying from mold infections getting on their tongues and throats from contaminated and old feeders left out irresponsibly, not cool. No way to bring these birds back to life. Although these feeders haven’t grown mold in the sponge or the gasket rings, the fact that their engineered design does not allow for their removal to clean properly, forcing them apart requires a gentle fracture on one of the plastic rings. This his compromised the design and risks leaks from the gasket not sealing properly. So beware. Risk contaminating hummingbirds or faulty equipment.
I purchased this feeder off of Amazon. It looks very nice and is well constructed. However if you fill the feeder it will leak out through all of the flowers until it is filled only to that height. The hummingbirds love it though.
I have bad RA needed stop filler this is perfect in many ways it is easy to fill and clean . Doesn’t sway much I. Winds so nectar is t everywhere the hummers like it. I’ve tried so many feeders . This works and is cute.
Zero stars if it was a possibility. Bought both this cactus one along with the pineapple one May of 2024, had to put them away for our frigid winters in Utah. Got them out today to find out they're terrible. Not inexpensive in the slightest. Both leak like a sieve no matter what I do. Your website won't allow downloading a video to prove the faucet leaking.
Leaks like a sieve along with the pineapple one I purchased. No matter what I do, neither one of them will stop dripping. They're not inexpensive to have them not even be able to be used. Can't upload a video, seems odd that your website won't support proof of dripping.
I have 4 of Cactus Top-Fill Hummingbird feeders and they are hit and miss when it comes to leaking out all the liquid. I would take it apart and put it back together. Somethimes that works, sometimes not. Any suggestions?

The lid should not fit too tightly; if it creates a vacuum, the nectar is more likely to leak.

I believe the leak in my cactus hummingbird feeder could be due to the seals in the lid that have melted away. Do you sell replacment seal rings?
Question by: Mark on Oct 23, 2024, 5:33 PM
Replacement seals are not available.

What solution or detergent do you suggest cleaning these with to prevent RUST? I used a touch of dawn and warm water like the directions said but still got rust. This seems to be a common issue with the perky pet metal basin feeders. I don't want to POISON the hummingbirds from the heavy metals in the rust. So until perky pet recalls these feeders or fixes this problem i would like to know what to use to wash them with since I am being shipped a new one.
Question by: Nancy on Oct 21, 2025, 10:26 PM
To prevent rust, we recommend using unscented dish soap and warm water for regular cleaning.
For a deeper clean, you may also use a solution of two parts water and one part distilled white vinegar as a substitute for the soap and water solution.
Crucially, ensure all parts of the feeder are allowed to completely dry before refilling it.

Where the jar bottom goes onto the base, the liquid is not getting into the base to fill the feeder area. No wonder the hummingbirds stopped trying. I tried filling the part right where the base screws in but the liquid just sits there. Should I fill that reservoir up with vinegar/water and let it sit or is there something else I am doing wrong here?
Question by: Leigh on Oct 24, 2025, 8:37 PM
Please check for any obstruction in the feeder base and clean it thoroughly to remove debris. Feeding ports and perches are removable for easy cleaning, and the gasket ensures a tight seal to prevent leaking.
