While you enjoy time saved from filling and cleaning, your hummingbirds won’t be able to resist the feeder’s lifelike hollyhock-inspired feeding ports. They are bright, soft and flexible just like the flowers they flock to in nature! The flowers’ tapered stem design also acts as a natural bee guard to keep bugs out.

Unique Top-Fill Design For Easy Filling
No more messes and no more spills! Our unique feeder features patented Top-Fill technology so that filling is never a hassle. Simply remove the lid and pour up to 28 oz of nectar into the convenient wide-mouth opening to get your feeder up and running – there’s no need to invert the bottle!
Feeding Ports Inspired by Nature
Hummingbirds are accustomed to imbibing nectar from flowers. That’s why we’ve developed this feeder with soft, flexible hollyhock-inspired feeding ports to offer a more natural look and feel. The color and realistic flower shape are perfect for attracting hummers, while the five ports ensure there’s enough room for multiple birds to dine simultaneously.
Naturally Keeps Out Bees
With this feeder, there’s no need for an added bee guard. The specially designed feeding ports feature a long tapered “stem” that prevents bees from gaining access to the nectar, while hummingbirds will have no trouble at all! It’s a natural way of keeping out pesky bees without adding extra parts for you to clean.
Removable Perches
Each of the five feeding stations features a removable perch, so you can hang your feeder with or without them. By using the feeder with the perches on, you can give your hummingbird friends a place to rest while they dine. Or, if your hummingbird feeders are frequently plagued by woodpeckers or other unwanted birds, you can use the feeder without perches. Hummingbirds can hover while they feed, but other birds can’t.
Comes Apart for Easy Cleaning
Hummingbirds prefer to visit fresh, clean feeding stations. To make that easier, this feeder disassembles for effortless cleaning. Easily separate the base, bottle and lid. You can even pull apart the base and remove the feeding ports and perches! Remember to clean your feeder at least once per week with a mild soap and water solution to prevent mildew buildup; clean more often in hot weather.
Gasket Prevents Leaks
If you’ve ever walked outside to find drops of nectar on the ground from a leaky hummingbird feeder, you know how frustrating it can be. Issues like those are exactly why we’ve created this feeder with a gasket in the base. It creates a nice tight seal so there’s no more leaks!
Note: Feeders may loosen during shipment. Before filling for the first time, tighten the bottle onto the base to ensure no leaking.

In the well stocked section at the plant nursery I spent a long time searching for the perfect hummingbird feeder. This Perfect-Pet Crystal feeder seemed to be the one. Easy to fill, red flowers with perches, glass for sanitation, and easy to clean. It sounded perfect according to the attached literature! Upon getting it home and preparing to clean it for the first fill it became a huge disappointment and then a disaster! Try as we might there was no way we could get the base open for cleaning. We removed the flowers w/perches, still no luck in getting the base apart for cleaning. In the process, the Crystal glass fell over on the counter and part of the top rim shattered into a hundred tiny pieces. My husband filed the sharp edges down and the cap still fit, so we hoped to salvage it all. So I came to this site hoping for info on getting the base apart. No luck, no answers. Just reviews from people having the same problem. Then, after reading about the leaking issues we finally gave up and the whole expensive feeder will have to go in the trash. Hugely disappointed in Perky-Pet!!!
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Perky-Pet® Crystal Top-Fill Glass Hummingbird Feeder. We’re sorry for the frustration and disappointment you described. The base is designed to unscrew for cleaning, but if it’s overtightened from the factory or during use, it can be difficult to separate. Using a rubber grip or warm (not hot) water around the base can sometimes help loosen it.

These feeders DO NOT LEAK.

These feeders DO NOT LEAK. If yours is leaking it was assembled incorrectly and is SIMPLE TO FIX... It's not defective or broken. When you cleaned it, you inadvertently put it back together with the round foam-disc upside down (or it came that way from the factory). Look at photo #7 to see a cut-away view of the foam- disc I am referencing. This foam-disc sits under the round plastic part that is threaded to receive the neck of the glass reservoir (identifiable by the donut-shaped red silicone washer inserted into it). When the threaded part is pulled upwards, it unsnaps to give access to the foam-disc (for cleaning). There is a RED silicone rubber plug in the center of the round foam-disc. On one side of the disc that plug looks like a small nipple (only a few millimeters wide). On the other side, the plug is flat and wider in diameter (approximately 7-10 mm wide). When you reassemble the feeder, you MUST orient the foam disc so that the larger, flat, 7-10 mm side of the red-plug (at the center of the foam-disc) is facing UP. If you have the foam disc oriented so that the smaller red nipple side is facing up, the feeder will leak all of its contents out of the holes in the center of the flowers. I have been using 4 of these feeders for 5 years now and they have worked flawlessly (except for the one time I inadvertently reassembled one with the foam-disc upside down).
The best!! Easy to fill, easy to clean, no spills, no leaks!! I bought it at my local Ace Hardware store, I thought it was a bit expensive at first glance, but it has been so worth it! We love the clear glass so you can see if there are birds on all sides.
Yes, you do need to insure the base is firmly attached to the glass, but when that is right, these feeders don't leak. I am replacing several other feeders that i cannot get leak-proof with these.
We're sorry to hear that! Be sure to check that the base is tight, and that the bottle neck threads line up correctly to help prevent leaking. For best results, we recommend hanging the feeder in the shade as well as out of high traffic or windy areas. It is good to know that our feeders are covered under a 1-year replacement policy. Please give us a call at 855-737-5973 for assistance.
We're sorry to hear your feeder is leaking! This can occur when the connection between the base and the reservoir is loose. This feeder is covered by a 1-year replacement policy for manufacturer defects. Please contact us at 855-737-5973 for assistance.

I like the ease of filling but it seems no matter how tightly I screw the glass to bottom the thing leaks through the flowers! Leaked nearly a full container in less than a day
We're sorry to hear your feeder is leaking! This can also occur when the lid is not secured properly. Please contact us for assistance with our 1-year replacement policy, we're happy to help.

I like this top fill feeder, and have had no leaks. However I have not been able to separate the two bottom pieces to fully clean the interior well! The video makes it look easy to snap apart. However neither my husband nor I have been able to unsnap the 2 pieces. Must one remover the 'flowers' to separate the top and bottom pieces of the base to clean it??
Was just given this one as a gift as the one I have used for years is starting to wear out. I filled it up this morning and within about 5 minutes every bit of nectar had leaked out. Took it all apart, made sure everything was on/in properly and started over only with clear water to test. Same thing. Because it was a gift, I cannot say anything to my friend, but this is going into the trash. I am so disappointed as I thought it would be great.
We are so sorry to hear about this! Please give us a call directly! We would love the opportunity to work with you to make this right and give you the opportunity to enjoy your gift!
I have three of these top fill feeders and love them. I need to replace the flowers along with perches (perches break from being in the South Texas sun). Where can I find replacements?
