I purchased this concentrate at my local Ace store. They carry it and the ready-to-run version. I’m very happy with it, and the birds too. Easy to mix, one cup water to 1/3rd concentrate. No muss, no fuss, and cheap enough to where I can’t be bothered to buy sugar and mix my own. As for the red coloring, the birds don’t mind at all.
I recently purchased this nectar at Lowe's, against my better judgment, because they were out of the Pennington nectar with electrolytes that I usually purchase. The hummingbirds hate the Perky Pet nectar!!!! What good is the red nectar if the hummingbirds don't like it. I had flocks of hummingbirds when I used the clear Pennington nectar, now I have none

I have been using this for a few years now and my hummingbirds do love it.
Your instructions say add 3 parts water to 1 part concentrate. Ok. But then the instructions say to put mixture into feeder, then fill with water. How much mixture? It does not take into account the size of the feeder.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. When mixing we recommend adding the nectar concentrate to the feeder then adding the recommended amount of water to make the desired amount of nectar for the feeder.
