Keeping Your Sweet Offerings Fresh Has Never Been Easier than with the Oriole Jelly Feeder Did you know that like hummingbirds, orioles have a sweet tooth? They do! What better way to attract them than by offering their favorite sweet treat – jelly! Other jelly feeders on the market expose the jelly to the elements, causing it to mold and spoil quickly. The Perky-Pet® Oriole Jelly Feeder has an inverted jelly jar, ensuring that your jelly is kept fresh and covered. The 32 oz jar can also be interchanged with most standard jelly jars. The built-in stirrer allows the perfect amount of jelly to be dispensed into the tray. In addition, this feeder boasts a vibrant orange color to draw more orioles to your yard!
Jelly Oriole Feeder
cicrular feeding tray and perch
Circular Feeding Tray and Perches Orioles love to perch while they feed. This jelly feeder features a large circular feeding tray with a wraparound perch so your orioles have plenty of room to feast! Orioles are known to be attracted to the color orange – the tray’s vibrant hue is sure to catch the eye of passing orioles and draw them to your yard.

Jelly Remains Fresh Inside the Inverted Jar Jelly that is exposed to the elements quickly spoils and molds, which is bad for your birds. To keep your offerings fresh and protected from the elements, this feeder holds all of the jelly inside the inverted weatherproof jar so it lasts longer. In addition, the included bottle can be swapped with most 32 oz jelly jars, so there’s no need to scoop jelly when refilling. Clean your feeder every few days to ensure that your orioles are receiving the freshest jelly supply.

jelly stirrer
turn knob to stir jelly
Built-in Jelly Stirrer Allows for Even Dispensing Jelly can be clumpy and sticky. Thanks to the built-in stirrer, this is no longer a problem. This simple device allows the perfect amount of jelly to be distributed into the tray every time. Simply turn the knob on the bottom of the tray to dispense more jelly.
Includes a Hanging Chain for Easy Placement With the Perky-Pet® Oriole Jelly Feeder, you can have ultimate flexibility in placement thanks to the built-in hanging chain and hook. Hang it anywhere around your yard, patio or garden. In addition, the chain’s sturdy metal design provides the perfect balance to the tray so it won’t tip under an oriole’s weight.

Excellent! By Severn

Orioles were coming to my hummingbird feeder but not the oriole nectar feeder. When I added the jelly feeder, it clearly became their first choice. I only put in half a cup of jelly at a time and clean it every few days. It hasn't been hot yet so the jelly stays near the openings. The hummingbirds don't go to it at all, maybe because of the wide bottom. I did have to add an ant moat to keep ants out.

Great Feeder if your Orioles love jelly!!! By Sheila

I have two of these from last year, and am ordering two more! My Orioles just showed up in a group of 12!!! And these are the best for my group because they love jelly, but don't drink much nectar (although I put out nectar feeders also.) I'm going through two 32oz jars a day and the season just started! Wait until the babies come!! Maybe I should order 4 feeders!?! LoL. The jelly doesn't always readily come out of the jar into the feeder by gravity, but it does a really good job overall! I highly recommend this feeder!!

jelly doesn't dispense By reed

I just bought this a week ago---no orioles yet--but I noticed the jelly doesn't come out well, maybe just in a clump and stays sticking to the side of the jar...this despite the stirring, not sure if mine is defective or not?

I have one of your Oriole jelly feeders and love it. We have had it for 3-4 years and the Orioles love it too. I received another one for Christmas but when I took the jar off the stirrer was almost broken into off of the base. I would say that it was probably broken during assembly. Not a problem on my end. If you would please send me a stirrer assembly I can fix it myself. I will be looking forward to receiving your reply. Thank you very much. Have a good day. Sincerely, Douglas W. Brown

Looks like it will work well. By WesternNYLady

I won't be able to try this until next spring but it looks like it will work well. I will only put out a partial jar of jelly. Cleaning regularly will be easy. Will have to see if ants will be a problem.

Jelly drips through holes By sue

Why are there holes? I am surprised no one has mentioned them. Did I put this together wrong? They are small holes, I thought to drain water from rain, but when jelly is warmed by sun it spreads and drips through holes. I have had to tape them closed.

Response From Perky-Pet®
Jennifer : Consumer Relations Representative

Hello Sue,

Thank you for providing this feedback! This feeder includes drain holes in the tray to help prevent water from building up. The built-in stirrer allows the perfect amount of jelly to be dispensed into the tray. We recommend cleaning the feeder at least twice a week to keep the feeder inviting and the jelly fresh.

Please feel free to contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973) with any questions or for additional assistance.

Q.The proper way to hang perky pet Oriole feeder ?

The three chains should the placed equidistant and the feeder suspended from the top ring.

Q.What type of Orioles visit Wisconsin ?

Bullock's, Scott's, and Hooded orioles are all found in Wisconsin.

Q.I just bought and started using the Oriole feeder. I don’t like constantly having to go out and turn the agitator to dispense the jelly. When the weather warms up will the jelly dispense without having to turn the agitator?

We recommend using the dispensing feature to ensure the orioles have a consistent supply of jelly.
