Had one of these from 20 years ago until it finally broke. Bought 2 of the new style, easy clean. Will not buy another. It leaks and the bee guards just seem to attract bees.

I'm on my second one of these, same problem with the loop in the top that others have. The only good thing is I am able to rotate my two feeders, while one is hanging, the other is being cleaned. (Love the strap and paperclip idea that Nana posted, I will be trying it) The other problem is the bees. I've been researching and it turns out that bees are actually attracted to yellow. So why the HECK are the bee guards YELLOW?!?!?!? I understand that bee like the sun so you should hang your feeder in the shade, but I don't have any shade. I don't use the "flowers" cause they block my view of the birds, when they are able to get around the bees.

I’ve bought 10+ of these exact feeders in the past 3 years. They work great for nearly a month then the bottom cracks or they just leak without reason. I don’t over tighten the bottom. I just bought this one mid June and it’s already dripping several drops a minute. I won’t buy anymore of these. I bought this one and another brand at the same time, same amount of use- other brand holding up WAY better!!! Another thing I don’t like about these- the top fades SO quick!!

I could not hang my ...not American

I could not hang my feeder because of the 1” long cheap hanging hook you hang the feeder onto your shepherd hook etc it’s incapable of holding the feeder securely so I will have to go back to the store to purchase. Very disappointed also seeing BOLDLY stating established 1958 so misleading me into thinking I am buying an American product which is false.

These hummingbird feeders leak no matter what you do to them here in the south it gets very hot the plastic expands if you're loosen them they leak if you tighten them they leak the old version they had which had a seal in the bottom we're much better you could adjust them and they would not leak but these no matter what you do to them they leak for poor design and effort to save money shame on you people

This is my favorite feeder EXCEPT for the cap. The hanging loop continues to break. So I have 4 feeders with no way to hang them

I have 7 of these feeders & I loved them until I didn’t.. every single one of them now leaks. Not a single one of them will hold the liquid feed. I called their customer service to see if I could purchase new lids/feeding flowers & was told that they don’t carry parts. The representative offered me a 15 percent discount toward the purchase of new feeders. I will be changing feeders companies and I will not using their products anymore.

Not enough threads on the top piece. Has fallen twice. If you tighten it too much it slips, if its not tight it falls to the ground.

I bought four of these hummingbird feeders, and it's false to claim they're guaranteed against ants and bees. I have several dozen wasps circling around them, drinking the nectar left by the hummingbirds, but also the numerous leaks, due to the poor design of this feeder. If you remove the flower corollas to clean them, a gap forms between the base of the corolla and the tube through which the hummingbirds drink the nectar. The wasps then stick to this gap and drink the nectar. I've seen that you can "solder" this gap with a soldering iron, which I did, but there's still some left at the top of the junction. There are also ants that manage to get into the nectar, contaminating it. So again, it's false to claim that this feeder is guaranteed against ants. Also, the top plastic discolors, even when it's not exposed to UV rays. It's very strange. Also, the quality of the plastic means that after a while, it hardens, and if you screw it in too tightly, it will crack. It would probably be necessary to have a plastic gasket inside these plastic parts to ensure a seal while preventing overtightening. Also, the tubes through which the nectar reaches the flowers are too short and not angled upward enough, which allows nectar to flow into the corolla, allowing all the other insects to come and drink it.
