8-Ounce Capacity & 4 Feeding Stations - Holding up to 8 ounces of nectar, this feeder features a red plastic bottle with a pinched waist and a wide mouth for easy filling and cleaning. The feeder's design includes four flower-shaped feeding stations, each with a resting perch and a built-in bee guard to protect the nectar. The feeder also comes with a built-in ant moat on the top (simply fill with water to keep ants away).

Leaky Bee Trap By K

Not only does the nectar run out when I flip it over after filling (no matter how quickly I turn it) and if it is tipped even slightly, leaving puddles of nectar at the back of the spouts which draws bees, but the ‘bee guard’ mesh traps bees, leaving them to struggle miserably until they eventually die. Larger bees will tilt their heads enough to get them through the mesh, but then cannot get them back out (as they cannot figure out to tip their heads back again to escape)...they then thrash and fight to get out, ultimately dying, leaving their corpses hanging from the feeder spouts - which of course deters the birds from using the feeder. In addition, to remove the dead bee you have to separate the body from the head, leaving the little bee head trapped inside the ‘bee guard’ mesh...I hope the company cares enough that they consider this a serious flaw, and I do believe simply making the holes in the mesh smaller would fix the issue; however, I have emailed the company but have yet to get a response. I do want the bees to leave the feeders alone, but they certainly don’t deserve this...

Not Wasp proof By jo711

the new stile 'buds' are a wasps dream. I had to replace the old flat style buds with the new rounded ones and the hummingbirds are not able to feed due to the increased wasp activiet.

So pleased and quickly disappointed By jumpinjack

I love that this feeder has a perch for all my hummers to rest and feed! I was so pleased to find it and couldn't wait to get it home and fill for all my hummers! Sadly, it took about 4 minutes for all the liquid to quickly drip (and sometimes stream) away. If I happen to get lucky and have it drip less quickly, the wind will move it ever so slightly and yup, there's that stream again. Very disappointed.

Good buy. By CJ

Attractive feeder that's easy to fill and easy to clean The ant moat works well when you remember to fill it. I've had this one for two years and never had an issue with it leaking.

Great feeder, no dripping, bees hate it, birds love it By sugarjeep

I bought this feeder 3 days ago in the glass version and I like it a lot. It only took one day for the hummers to come to it, they had no trouble with the bee guards, which is the main reason I got this kind, I have neighbors who have let a bee hive move into an old camper alongside my fence line and won't remove them, the bees are a nuisance to the hummers as they won't let the birds on the feeders, so I had to find feeders that the bees couldn't use, this one is perfect and I've had no dripping, I will be replacing all of my feeders with this type.

Great feeder at a great price! By Jagnut

Great feeder for the money! Only problem I've found is it's not dishwasher safe; even as far away from the heating cal-rod as possible. My feeder came out of the washer 'fogged' and has a few 'puckers' in it, but is still very functional . . it needs be hand-washed. At the price, I plan to purchase more of these for next year and 'rotate' the feeders to give more time for cleaning each one more thoroughly. I especially like the fact that the feeder design has no internal baffle for screwing the bottle into. It easily allows for more effective cleaning.

I like this feeder. It is easy to clean. Size is just right so the nector can be consumed faster. By DJ

I bought this feeder a few years ago. There was some leaking in the beginning. I was upset with it at first, and I stopped using it for a while. Surprisingly, later I tried using it again, after I continue to use it, it stopped leaking. No more leaking issue. Also, in the beginning, hummingbirds are not attracted with the feeder. I thought it was due to the bee guards. I removed them, and it seems like the hummers like that change. Removed the bee guards also attracted other birds such as orioles & chickadees. For customers who has problem with attracting hummers, you just need to be patient, and try different location.

Hummers like it, bees love it and take over. By Cathy

I filled it right away and it didn't take long for the Hummers to start using it. The problem is that the bees are on it constantly now and they drive the birds away. Very disappointing.

This is a great feeder! By DebbieMcPA

I love this feeder. I don't know if it's the red color or not, but I have 4 other feeders that are clear & bigger & I have gotten more hummingbirds at this feeder, since I put it up, than the other ones do. I have no problems with it leaking & I like that it is smaller than my other ones, since they don't go through all the nectar I could put in the larger ones. I think I may just have to replace them with more of these.

Feeder Awaits Hummingbird Customers By statoj

The Hummingbird Feeder is very attractive; it was easy to assemble (i.e., adding the nectar) and hang from my front awning. Sadly, it has been two weeks and no hummingbirds have found it yet, but I intend to be patient. :)

Q&A
Q.I purchased two of these from our local Wal-Mart in Henryetta Oklahoma on June 27th, 2018. Ever since we have been using them they continue to drip out of the feeder ports. I have tried and tried to adjust them and they continue to leak. What can be done to prevent this from happening?
A.

We recommend keeping the feeders out of the direct sunlight. Creating a vacuum seal by quickly inverting the feeder upright after filling is also important.

Q.How can I purchase replacement perches ---thanks.
A.

A recent business decision was made to no longer offer parts due to low demand. All feeders continue to have a one-year warranty. Please feel free to contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973) for additional assistance.

Q.How do you stop bees from entering the feeder? The birds won't feed from it.
A.

The yellow domed bee guards are designed to prevent bees from gaining access to the nectar. If bees are still crowding this feeder, we would recommend temporarily removing the feeder from the area for a few days and rehanging it in a slightly different location.
