Review RateFabulous feeder, especially for the price
This is a great feeder, especially for the price. Well constructed, very easy to maintain and the hummingbirds love it. We liked the first one so much that we bought 2 more. These people are so nice to deal with. We had a missing part on one when it came and they took care of the problem immediately.
The bee guards holes are letting yellow jackets in to drink. We are sitting here watching them go through the holes....grrrResponse From Perky-Pet®Jules : Consumer Relations Representative

Bought 2 feeders and had trouble with wasp and hornets. Then within a month both feeders had cracks in the top and bottom plastic pieces allowing nectar to leak out. Would not recommendResponse From Perky-Pet®Lauren : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateEasy to use and to clean
This 8 oz pinch waist feeder is great. The wider mouth makes it easy to fill and clean. No plastic inset to get worn out ( I used teflon tape on my old ones to get a few more years use out of them, but replaced them with this version.) The bee guards can be opened to clean so no build up of mold. We keep one hanging outside the living room window in hummingbird season. The birds love it!
Review RateGood product, too bad there are no replacement parts
We have the glass hummingbird feeder in the front yard. The hummers love it. We wanted to buy another but only the plastic feeder was in inventory. We set the new plastic feeder in the backyard to service other hummers. Imagine our surprise, the orioles were attaching the feeder and ripped off the bee guards and twisted the guards off the feeder. Aggressive birds! We were hoping to buy replacements bee guards but that won't happen.

Review RateGood looking feeders but not so good quality
I bought one of your feeders a few years back and was never able to use it. I can't get myself to throw it out as it is made of metal and so good looking. Every year, I give it a try, but no, it leaks. I then purchased one with a large glass bottle and plastic perch. The sun eventually got the better of the plastic flowers. they cracked and broke. I could not find a replacement part in my neighborhood. I finally bought two 8 oz. feeders and guess what ? they both leak. No matter how I twist and turn them, they leak. And I have lots of ants who are so happy with the nectar. I finally bought one last large glass bottle with the plastic perch, this works fine. But overall, I am disappointed with your products.Response From Perky-Pet®Lauren : Consumer Relations Representative

I would not purchase this product again, as all the nectar leaks out, and there are no replacement parts.Response From Perky-Pet®Kathryn : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateLeaky Bee Trap
Not only does the nectar run out when I flip it over after filling (no matter how quickly I turn it) and if it is tipped even slightly, leaving puddles of nectar at the back of the spouts which draws bees, but the ‘bee guard’ mesh traps bees, leaving them to struggle miserably until they eventually die. Larger bees will tilt their heads enough to get them through the mesh, but then cannot get them back out (as they cannot figure out to tip their heads back again to escape)...they then thrash and fight to get out, ultimately dying, leaving their corpses hanging from the feeder spouts - which of course deters the birds from using the feeder. In addition, to remove the dead bee you have to separate the body from the head, leaving the little bee head trapped inside the ‘bee guard’ mesh...I hope the company cares enough that they consider this a serious flaw, and I do believe simply making the holes in the mesh smaller would fix the issue; however, I have emailed the company but have yet to get a response. I do want the bees to leave the feeders alone, but they certainly don’t deserve this...Response From Perky-Pet®Jennifer : Consumer Relations Representative
