Have a ball birdwatching by hanging the Perky-Petยฎ Red Seed Ball Wild Bird Feeder in your yard! The Perky-Petยฎ Red Seed Ball Wild Bird Feeder is available in a new 6-inch round shape and a beautiful red finish. This unusual feeder will invite all kinds of birds to feed and holds 1.12 lb of seed!
Without the use of plastic or wood components, the premium construction of the Perky-Petยฎ Red Seed Ball Wild Bird Feeder stands up against squirrels and other small animals that may try to access birdseed. Birds visiting your yard will be happy that theyโre not sharing their feast with other animals, which will keep them coming back to feed again and again!
6 cups of black oil sunflower seed, the most popular seed for wild birds, is held in the Perky-Petยฎ Red Seed Ball Wild Bird Feeder. The mesh wire design welcomes clinging birds and keeps water from pooling in the seed containerโperfect for withstanding elements of snow and rain!
The low-maintenance Red Seed Ball mesh bird feeder is easy to clean. We recommend cleaning this Perky-Petยฎ bird feeder once every two weeks. Start by getting rid of excess seed in the feeder, then wash with a mild soap and water solution. The included handle allows the sphere-shaped feeder to hang on a treeโs branch or from a Perky-Petยฎ Universal Bird Feeder Pole.
Place multiple Perky-Petยฎ Seed Ball Wild Bird Feeders in your yard and increase the amount of feathered friends that will visit. In the birding world we say โthe more the merrier,โ so place a few Perky-Petยฎ Seed Ball Wild Bird Feeders on your property and watch as the birds flock to feed!
Great product. If you have problems with house finches overtaking your feeders, this is the feeder to buy. I still get some but not to many. I get the perfect amount. Best feeder EVER.
The one that started it all, as they. I'm a big fan of the mesh No-No feeders now. This one is tough to beat for the money. Squirrels occasionally have a go at it but give up pretty quickly. My only complaint is that I wish it had the domed or cone shaped bottom like the blue coffee pot and I'm sure others do. There are always some seeds wasted there in the middle, sometimes just because no one can reach them but usually because they get soggy and clump up. But I guess I could hang it in a sheltered location if it bothered me enough. I probably won't buy it again, but I'm glad I did. It was my intro to Perky Pet/No-No and the mesh idea, and now I'm hooked!
I love this little feeder - because my birds do too! I have one in green, and I had one in red, but a squirrel got too close to it, and it fell two stories to the ground! It survived, but with a sizable dent in the lower side, so I need a new one. And I now will secure them to their hangers!
great to get birds i love and discourage birds i don't love

Great little feeder. Encourages agile clingy birds like chickadees, tufted titmouse, house finches, gold finches; nuthatches; discourages aggressive house sparrows and starlings (but not completely). Because there is no top to protect from rain, fill only what will be eaten relatively timely manner
The small birds do love this (chickadees, nuthatches, downies, finches), but the seed falls out easily and attracts rodents below, and worse, because it isn't protected, the seed gets soaked in rain or snow and clumps together. Cheap but not worth it.
The unique shape and color is eye catching. It appears to be squirrel proof at a fraction of the cost of the 'squirrel proof' feeders. It is also enjoyable to see several birds cling to the circle at the same time.
The squirrels don't seem to be bothering this, as the seed lasts a while. My only dilike is that you need to use decent size sunflower seed, or it falls through to the ground too easily. Cardinals love it!! I think it's a nice feeder for the price.
