This is the best bird feeder I have ever owned. I would have given it 5 stars however it has a big flaw. The flexi ports erode away and the seed pours out. However I found replacements on etsy and ordered them. My bird feeder is back to being perfect. I highly recommemd thus feeder and getting the replacements if needed.

Nice bird feeder until the Flex Ports wore out. Now the seed spills out and I am constantly refilling it. Replacement Flex Ports would be nice. Cannot give a higher rating due to fact Flex Ports wore out and cannot be replaced.

Great except for the ports

Honestly the design is great. Love the size and anti squirrel capability. Unfortunately after a summer the ports are demolished and seed spills out!

Although the flex ports may be a good idea, all 4 on my feeder have been broken out, allowing seed to drain too easily. If you would offer replacement parts for this and other feeders, I'd give a better rating. You really need to step up your quality.

We loved the idea of the feeder at first but now we are not pleased. We fill it with only black oil sunflower seeds. The birds have difficulty getting the seeds out of the feeding ports. When heavier birds-- mainly cardinals, sit on the perch the weight of the bird closes the port so they are unable to get seeds. We filled it four days ago and it is still full as most of the birds gave up and are eating seeds from the other feeder we put out recently. We are going to ask for a refund.

Loved this at first until squirrels chewed around the flexible port and opened up the flow of seeds.
Perhaps a replacement part for those damaged ports???

As many have already said the squirrels eat the flex port and now the seed just runs out of the hole. Flexport replacements would very nice!

This feeder was great for first year and was the best I ever owned as far as keeping the squirrels out. After a year though the flex ports have worn out and the entire 4lbs of seed wound up down on the ground.

Took the squirrels 5 days to chew through the struts under the canopy and get into the feeder
They came down 6 feet of thin chain to get on the feeder- it was two feet away from tree trunk and everything else

We are sorry to hear about these pesky squirrels! Try and hang your feeder at least twelve feet from any tree trunk or limb and at least four feet up from the ground. This will prevent squirrels from either jumping from the tree or up from the ground onto the feeder. Our feeders are covered under a 1-year replacement policy. This feeder is the one to buy, it has no flaws in design. The more narrow version of this is harder to fill and the plastic feeding ports are not secure so certain birds and animals can remove those ports and all the seed falls to the ground.
