Only filled it up twice and it leaked immediately. The bird's love it though. When I filled it up the first time, there was still a little left and there was lots of traffic at the feeder.Response From Perky-Pet®Jennifer : Consumer Relations Representative
Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback! We are glad to hear the hummingbirds enjoy the feeder. To help keep the feeder from leaking, we recommend keeping the bottle and the base tightly assembled and quickly inverting the feeder upright after filling. Both of these steps are needed to create a vacuum seal. The feeder should also be kept out of the direct sunlight and sheltered from the wind.

Review RateLove this Feeder
My hummers love this feeder, between the bees and he hummers I have to refill (1/2) full every 2 days. we have 2 different style feeds but this one is preferred by far. We Get wonderful photos, and just love watching our little friends
Review RateVery pretty
I have had it before and loved it. The 1st one finally shattered when it was blowed off after 5-6 years of standing the weather. It doesn't really leak or ooze. Hummers notice the bright red feeder.
Review RateAmazon ReviewI love it.
Review RateAmazon ReviewPretty special design that started attracting 'em immediately. Easy to wash up and the plastic seems to work fine under our hot Arizona sun. The matching green hanging wire is a nice touch...js
Review RateAmazon ReviewI bought 2. They look cute in the garden. More importantly, the hummingbirds love them and we see several hummingbirds visiting our feeders!
Review RateAmazon ReviewBirds chose this one over my more expensive feeder. It is plastic but holds up comparatively well. The strawberry is cute and fun in the yard.
Review RateAmazon ReviewI just love to watch these little birds..even when I'm not there to watch them I can hear them fighting and they just crack me up. I have had several different feeders over the years. About 15 years ago I bought one of these and an apple shaped one. The strawberry won the little buggers over. I don't think they like the apple one because it was like a mirror and they thought there was an enemy looking at them..I don't know why.. But they really like the strawberry feeder. when I got it out this year, the bottom fell out of it. I was soooooo happy to find this on Amazon(which is my favorite store).
Review RateAmazon ReviewThis feeder is my third one, hummers seem to be attracted to the bright red. One flaw is that in time the sun fades the bright red color and it becomes a dull, whitish red.
Review RateAmazon Reviewno leaks. I actually picked up at a second hand store. I would by a couple more. it is the busiest feeder in my yard even though it is closest to the door i use the most to go in and out.
