Review RateThe poor design of the bird feeder.
I bought this Copper Meadow bird feeder and the birds wouldn't touch it so I had to cut some of the copper away from the ports so the birds could eat from the feeder, now the birds can eat from the feeder. I realize this feeder is suppose to keep the squirrels away but it also kept the birds away. Whoever came up with this design should have worked a little harder on the copper design before they put it on the market.Response From Perky-Pet®Lauren : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateEasy feeding for squirrelsIf you have squirrels, this is not the feeder for you. The decorative structure allows a squirrel to hang on the sides of the feeder and slurp the seeds from the tray at the bottom to its hearts content. And if the squirrel swings the feeder it will quickly empty depositing all the seeds on the ground.Response From Perky-Pet®Susan : Consumer Relations RepresentativeHello Kenny,
If squirrels are raiding the feeders in your yard, we recommend relocating the feeder away from squirrel launching points. Safflower seed also helps to deter them, as they typically do not like the taste of these seeds.
Additionally, we have a wide selection of squirrel resistant feeders. These can be found at the web address below.
