Still a great deal for only feeding finches. By Tom
While it is an economical a d efficient way to feed only finches, it could use one improvement. It should have a canopy. This would reduce the seeds thst get wet spoiled from the rain. If it was built better, I would pay the extra money for it.

Gold Finches love it By KMW
I've had this for years...actually several over the years. I get this to last for two to three years with careful handling. The gold finches swarm to it. They love it and since it is an upside down feeder the other birds don't steal the food. Gold finches are fun to watch. I recommend this.

Goldfinch feeder By Lee
I've tried several feeders but keep coming back to this one. You have to be careful when taking it apart to clean but if you are, you can get several years out of one.

Birds don’t like them! By Dee
The Gold Finches do not like this style of upside down feeding. Wish I could get replacements for the old style ones that just wore out. They had metal top and bottom, clear tube, plastic perches and the feed holes were upright. They were a fast and easy to clean, simple design.

You'll be sorry! By dd

I hate it! It's impossible to fill through that stupid vee shaped piece that's supposed be so easy to remove. What a waste of money. Don't bother to call Perky Pet, I've been waiting for " 1 minute " for fifteen minutes now. I would like to see a video that shows how easy it is to remove that part.

Hi there! This feeder is designed to be filled from the top, and the bottom is not designed to be easily removed. We apologize for any confusion! In order to refill the feeder, remove the yellow top and pour in the thistle or other small seeds. The name "Upside Down® Thistle Feeder" is in reference to the feed openings, which are located underneath the ports as opposed to above them. This allows finches to hang upside down and eat if they desire. For more information, feel free to reach out to us at 1-855-737-5973.

Love it. By Gerri

I love this. Much better than the mesh bag that the squirrels ran off with. I did make the holes a little bigger because the seed seems to last forever. I bought the one with a metal cap as well and am only going to fill it half way and maybe put something yellow in the void to attract attention of the little birds.
