Review RatePerfect except.
These are the perfect feeders except for one thing. They have a steady drip. Seems to help if after pushing the bee guards in to pull the flowers out to meet the guards. This seems to slow the trip somewhat. To bad because it is perfect in every other way.
Review RateLeaking feeder
Love my this feeder easy to clean. I got it for my birthday end of October and now it’s leaking. Not happy my hummingbirds love the feeder.Response From Perky-Pet®Jennifer : Consumer Relations Representative
We apologize for this experience. When assembled with the bottle and base tightly secured, the hummingbird feeder should not leak. We recommend hanging the feeder level and keeping it out of the direct sunlight. Review RateEasy to clean but leaks
Easy to clean but, bad design. It does leak no matter if in sun or not. Sure glad I have a few of the old type feeders left. They are my FAVORITE even if a little time consuming to clean. Please upgrade this model not to leak. Then it will be perfect!Response From Perky-Pet®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateI wanted to love itI just bought this today to replace some of my cheaper , plastic feeders that were attracting bees all day long and chasing my little hummingbird visitors but as soon as I closed the feeder it splashed syrup out of it.I brought it outside after cleaning the mess on it and by the time I hanged it up the bee was back on it.I am giving it a chance ,maybe that was only because it splashed and won't be leaking any longer,so my hummers can come back ,feeling safe. Maybe it was going to be more practical to pour it from the top so there won't be unnecessary tipping over and splashing.I am worried, with wind this might happen more so.. I will give it till tomorrow and see what happens.Response From Perky-Pet®Patty : Consumer Relations RepresentativeHello Magdalena,
Thank you for providing this valuable feedback. We apologize for this experience and are happy to help.
All of our hummingbird feeders should be placed in an area with little to no wind. On particularly windy days, we recommend temporarily removing the feeder. After filling the bottle and securely attaching the base, it is often easier to carry it to the hanging place upside down to avoid splashing or leaking. Turn the feeder upright very quickly to create a strong vacuum right before you hang it.
We do have a number of top-fill feeders available if this style better meets your needs. Feel free to contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973) with any additional questions.
Review RateBad designI loved these feeders when I first got them, they are so easy to clean - however - they leak, staining the porch and attracting ants. I believe it is the design, the large mouth bottle which is so easy to clean, has no barrier that prevents nectar in the feeding tubes trying to reach an equal level with the nectar in the bottleResponse From Perky-Pet®Susan : Consumer Relations RepresentativeWe apologize for this experience and appreciate the time taken to share this valuable feedback. When the bottle of this feeder is tightly secured to the base, it should not leak.

Review RateHummers like it but the bees love it more!Have used this for 2 weeks now and the hummers are happy to have it. However, the bees and wasps like it even more and scare away the hummers. The pests even push their heads inside the bee guard to get everything they can. Also I don't like that you fill it, screw on the bottom to the top of the jar and then flip it over spilling nectar onto itself. It would have been easy to have both ends open. Any suggestions to get rid of the insects?Response From Perky-Pet®Kelly : Consumer Relations RepresentativeHello,
Battling bees can be difficult as they are also attracted to the sweetness of the nectar. Removing the feeder for a few days can help as they will find another source of food. Also adding a second feeder that has a nectar ratio of 1:2 can be helpful. This will be too sweet for the hummingbirds but draw the bees to that feeder.
We apologize for this experience and hope that this information is helpful. Our Consumer Relations Team can be reached at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973) with any questions.
