Cleaning: Dirty feeders spread disease. We recommend disinfecting your nectar feeders every three to five days, or more frequently if you notice your nectar has become cloudy. Do not put your feeder in the dishwasher as the high temperatures can permanently damage the feeder parts. Soak all parts in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Use a bird feeder brush to brush away grime inside the feeder.

I purchased this feeder and noticed the base comes apart for cleaning. I was wondering if you have instructions as to the disassembly and assembly is accomplished. Does it screw back together or snap apart and back together

The base of your hummingbird feeder is designed with a detachable flat bottom that snaps apart and back together for easy cleaning and reassembly. It does not screw together. We recommend washing the feeder by hand with warm, soapy water only, as it should not be placed in the dishwasher. The wide bottle opening and removable base are specifically designed to make both filling and cleaning simple and convenient.
