How do we fill 50174 feeder? The tip does not come off easily.

The Perky-Pet® 50174 feeder features a twist-lock design. To fill it, simply twist off the top of the feeder to access the reservoir. The base also twists off for easy cleaning.

I bought this bird feeder from Menards and can not
find proper way to unscrew and screw back together after fill. It unscrews from both ends and moves so how does this work. I guess I will return and get money back . Very strange and bad design or am I missing something ?

The More Birds® Acorn Screen Bird Feeder is designed so the top cap twists off to fill the feeder, and then twists back on to secure it. If it feels like both ends are unscrewing, check the instruction images on our website — they show the proper way to grip and turn just the top cap.
Sometimes the sleeve and bottom ring can move slightly, which makes it feel loose, but only the top cap is meant to twist for filling.
