I love the plastic hummingbird feeder but one thing wrong red tabs break so easy than the only thing left is top.is there anything you could to do to make it stronger ? It’s the one that amounts to the window and it has three little perches to set everything else about it is really great. It’s just those red tabs.
after testing this product ,really don't have any complaints other than battery life .photos was pretty good which you can crop an filter for better quality pics. price was a little bit high for this product but i'm a true bird lover, so worth the price .
It was easy to assemble. Took three attempts to get it connected to my WiFi. No hummingbirds have visited.
Also want to add I had to charge battery twice before it held enough charge for more than 3-4 days.
So far I have to give it 1 star. It is made very well...the frame is a solid steel with what looks like powdercoat. The reservoir is a little small and the tray a little hard to fill, but seems more than adequate. The reason for my one-star review....the camera will not stay connected to wifi. If you turn it off and recycle power, it will reconnect...obviously that is not a workable solution when trying to watch birds. I have a mesh router system, and nothing else has a connectivity problem, inside or outside. I hope the camera system can be more stable as overall it seems like a good product...but without the camera, a $10 feeder is just as good.
Is it possible to use a small solar panel to keep the camera battery charged? If so, do you have a recommendation?

At this time, the camera is designed to charge only using the provided charging cable. Any USB-C cable will work as a replacement if needed. No recommendations as per solar options.
