We bought this bird feeder to replace one we bought last year that did not last. We love the copper color and it is made very well. We bought the 7' pole and also put a squirrel baffle on the pole underneath the feeder to prevent the squirrels from getting to feeder. It has attracted lots of birds too.
Bought this feeder, and guess I did not read all of the description. It says Copper Finish, and I assumed Copper. Unpacked it, filled it, put it up, and within 2 days the squirrels have landed on the top and eaten thru the plastic Topper; trying to get to the Food. Figure in another day or two that they will have destroyed the top and the Feeder will be worthless. What a loss of money. I do not recommend.Response From Perky-Pet®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative

The squirrel-resistant baffle should keep squirrels from staying on the feeder. Additional measures can be taken to keep these determined pests away. We recommend placing feeders at least 5 feet above the ground & 10 feet from the nearest jumping-off point, such as trees and decks. Adding cayenne pepper of safflower seed to the mix can repel squirrels while not affecting the birds.
Our feeders are covered by a one year replacement warranty. Please contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973) for additional assistance.
Review RateTriple tube copper bird feeder, LOVE
This bird feeder is the Bomb ! Love it ! We have owned one before this purchase. Looked high and low to replace it.....Finally found your site ( Perky-Pet ) so we bought it and love the size, color and ease of use. It allows use of more than one type of seed to make everyone ( the birds ) happy.Price is good for length of use and birds at the feeder. Would tell friends ! Thank you !
Review RateNeed to improve the quality
Like other reviews I've read, mounting the perches is a joke. Sad to say, but I ordered two of these feeders, and both of them suffered the same problem. On one of the feeders the bottom would not mount to the tubes properly. I currently own one of these feeders and it hasn't had a lick of trouble, except old age. Perky-Pet Customer Service was great and I returned both of them for a refund. I sure wish things had worked out with the new feeders.Response From Perky-Pet®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RatePerky Pet Triple Tube Copper Finish BirdfeederThis is my second purchase of this feeder. Years ago, I purchased my first which lasted many, many years. A small part wore out and broke over time. I contacted the company for a replacement part. They asked me to email them a picture of the part that was broken along with a photo of the entire feeder. They then sent me a free replacement feeder free!
I've since replaced that older model with this newer, copper-colored one and could not be happier with the product. It's an excellent feeder for the birds. I've mounted mine on a galvanized pipe pole with a squirrel baffle under the feeder.
Great product at a great price. The birds love it.
Review RateThe birds and I love this feeder! This becomes the third of this type of feeder I now have in use. They attract many species of birds. I have birds flocking in by the dozens. The love the feeders so much I have to frequently refill them. I have counted as many as 24 male Cardinals at one time! I get many species of woodpeckers, wrens, finches, bluejays, mocking birds, and numerious migrating birds. We love to sit at the breakfast table with a cup of coffee and enjoy the wonderment of the feeders(I may have to put up a forth feeder!). Great feeders!
Review RatePlease Redesign the feeding ports!I bought this 2 months ago and love its capacity, design, looks, seed tray, and oversized hood that protects the seed and birds and makes it easy to fill. BUT. . . the flimsy plastic ports keep falling out and getting lost on the ground. When that happens, all the seed in that tube falls out and makes the tube essentially useless. Please redesign it with metal feeding ports that won't fall out. I would be willing to pay a little extra for that feature.Response From Perky-Pet®Patty : Consumer Relations RepresentativeWe appreciate the time taken to provide this feedback and apologize for the experience. Your suggestion has been passed along to our Product Manager.

Review RateWife Loves New Feeder!I purchased the Triple Tube Bird Feeder as a present for my wife, she absolutely loves it! The quality construction and look is top notch, and a large variety of birds are continually feeding....we couldnt be happy with our purchase.
Review RateQuality construction and designBought this a few weeks ago and I love it. And birds love it too. I particularly like the 3 separate tubes for 3 types of seed.
Review RateGreat feeder but starting to rust after 4 months.I purchased this feeder about 4 months ago and it started out great. However, it has now rusted on all metal parts. I had hoped that at this price it would have lasted a bit longer. Still it has been the best feeder I have ever purchased.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What are the most popular bird seeds to use?
A: Black Oil Sunflower Seed is the most popular bird seed. It is much smaller than the traditional sunflower seed and best for those birds with smaller bills, such as the sparrow, junco and goldfinch. This seed is accepted by the greatest variety of birds.
Mixed Seed is also popular. It is best to buy the mixes that contain white proso millet, a tiny cream colored seed with a shiny shell. Mixes containing finely cracked corn and black oil sunflower are also preferred by a large number of birds.
Niger (Thistle Seed) is imported from Africa and Asia. Niger won't germinate, but it does have a tendency to become moldy due to lack of air circulation. If you notice mold on the seed, it must be removed from the feeder and the feeder must be cleaned thoroughly.
Q: How do I clean my bird feeders?
A: Before filling your feeder with fresh seed, it is recommended that the following precautions are taken:
- Remove all old seed.
- Soak feeder in a light water/bleach solution (9 parts water to 1 part bleach).
- Scrub feeder and allow to air dry.
- Rake and remove accumulated hulls and droppings from underneath the feeders.
- Spread mulch (bark or wood) under the feeder, replace mulch when soiled.
- Thoroughly wash hands after handling and cleaning feeders.
Q: What is the importance of providing water for wild birds?
A: Wild birds need fresh, clean water just as much as they need seed. Birds stay healthy by using water not just for drinking, but also for bathing, cleaning their feathers and to remove parasites. Waterers are better options than bird baths because they provide birds with fresh, clean water that prevents dirt and debris from contaminating it. In hotter climates or seasons, providing water for birds makes it easy for them to have access to a water source and retain their energy. By adding a water source, you also can attract a larger variety of birds to your yard. You may even attract more colorful birds that don't eat seed, but are in need of water!
