Very disappointed. This feeder did not last long at all. While the cage held up the internal plastic pieces came apart within a year. You can't really tell from an internet image but the tube is not one solid piece. It is several smaller pieces and they don't hold up at all. Once cracked it is game over.

I have been using these for many years. THEY ARE NOT SQUIRREL PROOF! Nevertheless I like them because they have many access points for birds to feed and I enjoy watching them (up to four or five at a time) congregate and feed. And they hold a LOT of sunflower seed at a filling. The one problem I have with this feeder is that the plastic seed holder is not UV protected. As a result, they lose clearness over two years or so. And you cannot simply purchase a replacement part for the seed holder which is the obvious solution.+ While the squirrels can be annoying, those who know what to do about that problem can minimize the issue. With those caveats, recommend this feeder who like to see many birds at a time feeding all seasons. Prices vary widely so don't be afraid to ask your dealer for a discount if you want three or four at a time. I have paid as little as $22.00 each, which I think is fair. Corki

This is not squirrel proof, the squirrels just flip off the top cap and get inside the tube to eat the seeds! The cap need to be more secure.

I bought one similar to this and in that time and had a little squares and it came out and they replaced it but with a different one and I’ll be darned if another Square didn’t come out again so I can’t use either one. But it does keep the squirrels out.

The lid blew off in a wind storm. It is not very secure. Can I get a replacement?

Have been feeding the birds here for 30 years. Have always used this Perky Pet Easy Feeder. This new style feeder is AWFUL!!! I have to tell that I have Always used Black Oil sunflower seeds exclusively in this feeder. Terrible rating is due to this feeder clogs! The smaller tube causes the feed to Not come out of the access holes at the bottom of the feeder. The old style where the tube filled the wire frame to the edge did not have this issue! Maybe smaller diameter is for squirrel control but NOT worth the aggravation! Please go back to how is was made!! I have given 5 star ratings in the past. No longer! I cannot find Anyone that makes this type feeder anymore but I'm still looking. As all things are "improved" most times the "improvements" wind up causing lower quality and that is exactly what has happened here!

I have three of these feeders and I absolutely love them! I've had them approximately 2 years and no issues at all. Perky pet is the best in all types of bird feeders!

I have this feeder only the bottom is a little different. I think it might be a little older model, but the rest is same. This feeder is not even squirrel resistant. The squirrels get on it and hang upside down and chew out the ports on the bottom of the plastic inside tube so that they can get to the feed. I don't see that I can replace the plastic lining. It should be all metal for the price.

Perkypet Easy Feeder model. The squirrel resistant feature works well. Problem: The birds that visit my feeder don't empty the bottom section as designed. One solution: I raised the plastic insert about 1 inch by setting it on a plastic container. Now clinging birds empty the bottom section. Please redesign the feeder to raise at least the bottom opening about 1 inch. I volunteer to beta-test a redesign if you like. Thank you (photos attached)
