The lid blew off in a wind storm. It is not very secure. Can I get a replacement?

Have been feeding the birds here for 30 years. Have always used this Perky Pet Easy Feeder. This new style feeder is AWFUL!!! I have to tell that I have Always used Black Oil sunflower seeds exclusively in this feeder. Terrible rating is due to this feeder clogs! The smaller tube causes the feed to Not come out of the access holes at the bottom of the feeder. The old style where the tube filled the wire frame to the edge did not have this issue! Maybe smaller diameter is for squirrel control but NOT worth the aggravation! Please go back to how is was made!! I have given 5 star ratings in the past. No longer! I cannot find Anyone that makes this type feeder anymore but I'm still looking. As all things are "improved" most times the "improvements" wind up causing lower quality and that is exactly what has happened here!

I have three of these feeders and I absolutely love them! I've had them approximately 2 years and no issues at all. Perky pet is the best in all types of bird feeders!

I have this feeder only the bottom is a little different. I think it might be a little older model, but the rest is same. This feeder is not even squirrel resistant. The squirrels get on it and hang upside down and chew out the ports on the bottom of the plastic inside tube so that they can get to the feed. I don't see that I can replace the plastic lining. It should be all metal for the price.

Perkypet Easy Feeder model. The squirrel resistant feature works well. Problem: The birds that visit my feeder don't empty the bottom section as designed. One solution: I raised the plastic insert about 1 inch by setting it on a plastic container. Now clinging birds empty the bottom section. Please redesign the feeder to raise at least the bottom opening about 1 inch. I volunteer to beta-test a redesign if you like. Thank you (photos attached)

Agree with others here, the interior plastic tube is crap. If “Perky Pet” actually had any concern for the environment, they would make the tubes of sturdier material or at the very least they would make the tubes available separately. Not making the tubes available separately is short-sighted on their part. This bad marketing makes customers look elsewhere for solutions.

It makes no sense for Woodstream's continual response to owners of this product who need to just replace the inner plastic tube to answer with "it has a one year warranty." Obviously, Woodstream has tens of thousands of the inner plastic tubes sitting in a warehouse. Why not permit owners of this product to simply PURCHASE the tube only?

I have been buying the Perky Pet Squirrel Resistant Easy Feeder for maybe 10+ years and resigned myself to buying a new one every 1 to 2 years as the inner tube could not be purchased separately. It splits and breaks easily aided by UV damage. It requires frequent replacement.Requiring purchase of a new feeder w cage is not a good way to care for loyal customers. I wrapped wire around the inner tube before installing into the fixed tube cage. This plus a small bungee securing an inner tube metal foot to the inner tube wire prevented wind gusts from separating the two and destroying the plastic inner tube. That happened a few times before I (finally) figured this out. The top of the feeder is attached under a large aluminum squirrel proof disc suspended on a cable 10` above ground.It does not require replacement. This older style feeder is EASY to fill and holds a sufficient amount of seed. I use a 6 ft ladder to reach the bottom of the feeder, pull it out , fill and replace . This wire suspended 10` between 2 oaks keeps the feeder above the black bears reach. We have photos of unsuccessful attempts by black bear to reach the feeder.The new design of this product is a top fill, poorly made, cumbersome and with repeated wind gusts separates from the cage. It is terrible. The plea to Perky Pet to bring back the old style feeder and to sell plastic replacement tubes separately has fallen on deaf ears. As they continue to be unresponsive I am left with no choice. I will look elsewhere, even if it means redesigning this great feeding station.

I first want to say we use Perky Pet Line feeders/waterers for 3 years now. The first one similar to this was great but the plastic tube seams split quickly and could not replace just that piece. We bought this feeder and the lower third of the sunflower seeds molded and I had a lot of trouble breaking the clumps out of the tube. When I washed the plastic tube there is dark sediment inside the seams I can't get rid of. This specific one is disappointing.
