Where is the best place to hang my new hummingbird feeder?

Place your hummingbird feeder away from sun and wind. The sun may cause the mixture to turn bad and the wind may swing the feeder around, causing the mixture to spill.

Hummingbirds will find your nectar feeder, although there are some steps you can take to help the tiny birds find it sooner. Tying a red ribbon on the feeder wire or pole will help them locate it.

No worries, with this top fill feeder - it has a built in ant moat right in the lid of the feeder. After filling your feeder and hanging, simply pour a small amount of water in the top of the lid.

How do I get a replacement gasket for Elegant Copper Glass Hummingbird Feeder? I just opened mine and there wasn’t one included so is why leaking.

Are there any small (12 -16oz) Hummingbird Feeders that don't "pop apart" at the base? What I'm finding is that with higher temps and sunlight, these type feeders begin leaking. Or, do you sell replacement parts for feeders like the top cap to which a hook attaches? We have an old 8oz, 4 station feeder which was great until the plastic loop on the top cap broke when a squirrel leaped onto the feeder (Squirrel has been re-trained).

Charlie asked about a rubber gasket that prevents the nectar from leaking out. I have the exact same issue. I bought a new Perky Pet feeder and mine also was missing the rubber gasket. How ridiculous Kimberly, that your hummingbird feeder does no include this essential part!!! I will not ever purchase another feeder from Perky Pet.

I understand your frustration with the missing rubber gasket. The product description for the feeder mentions its convenient wide-mouth bottle and clear glass design, but it does not specify that a gasket is included. This feeder does not come with a rubber gasket.

This may happen if the feeder is not fully sealed or is tilted. Make sure the base is tightly secured and the feeder is kept upright when filling and hanging.

Is there a rubber seal for this hummingbird feeder? It leaks constantly no matter how secure the bottom appears.

Do you sell replacement parts? The plastic bottom part of the feeder after time falls off the glass food holder. The screw threads in that plastic base wear out and the bottom falls off. Maybe you can make it out of metal or make a better thread design. I have plenty of spare parts, wish I could purchase the part I need. (do You design it this way so people will have to buy another whole feeder?

Unfortunately, we do not sell replacement parts for our feeders. Most of our feeders are covered by a one-year warranty against manufacturer defects. We do, however, appreciate your feedback and will share your suggestion with our design team.
