Stains. Buyer Beware

FYI not but the red nectar! It stains clothes and when I reached out to this company, all I was told was to wash it. Second time washing and with stain remover, my jeans are ruined. No discount offered, no coupon.... nothing. I would understand if there was a warning on the label saying it stains, saying be careful... but there's no such warning. I took the jeans off IMMEDIATELY and washed them. I will not be buying this product again and feel you should be careful if you do.

We are sorry to hear of your experience! We are only able to recommend following their normal washing proceedures. We have not tested the removal of our product from clothes as it is not a recommended application for them.
Hummingbirds won't touch it

My Anna's hummingbirds (we live on the central coast of CA) won't touch this stuff. I've put it out for them a few times and they will not drink it. I looked at the label and the second ingredient is sucrose. I think they don't like the taste of it (I don't either!) Whenever I put plain sugar water out again, they come back. I gave it two stars because it is easy to mix up.

We recommend using one type of nectar in all feeders and mixing it as recommended. It is also important to keep the nectar fresh (by cleaning the feeder at least twice a week). Yes, this product can be refrigerated for up to one month once it has been opened.
