Perky-Pet® Top-Fill Grand Master Plastic Hummingbird Feeder
The Perky-Pet® Top-Fill Grand Master Plastic Hummingbird Feeder is a favorite of birders and hummingbirds alike. It’s a new variation on our beloved Grand Master feeder, now with Top-Fill technology. The charming, fluted plastic bottle with a wide-mouth opening, and Top-Fill design ensure that filling is always easy and mess-free! While you enjoy time saved from filling and cleaning, your hummingbirds won’t be able to resist the feeder’s lifelike flower-inspired feeding ports. They are bright, soft and flexible just like the flowers they flock to in nature! Plus, the astounding 48-ounce capacity will keep hordes of hummingbirds satisfied for quite some time. This feeder also features and ant moat and natural bee guards to keep insects out.
Unique Top-Fill Design For Easy Filling
No more messes and no more spills! Our unique feeder features patented Top-Fill technology so that filling is never a hassle. Simply remove the lid and pour up to 48 oz of nectar into the convenient wide-mouth plastic bottle to get your feeder up and running – there’s no need to invert the bottle!
Feeding Ports Inspired By Nature
Hummingbirds are accustomed to imbibing nectar from flowers. That’s why we’ve developed this feeder with soft, flexible flower-inspired feeding ports to offer a more natural look and feel. The color and realistic flower shape are perfect for attracting hummers, while the six ports ensure there’s enough room for multiple birds to dine simultaneously.
Keep Insects Out
With this feeder, there’s no need for an added bee guard. The specially designed feeding ports feature a long tapered “stem” that prevents bees from gaining access to the nectar, while hummingbirds will have no trouble at all! It’s a natural way of keeping out pesky bees. There’s also a built-in moat to prevent ants. Simply fill the cap with water to create a barrier that ants can’t pass.
Removable Perches
Each of the six feeding stations features a removable perch, so you can hang your feeder with or without them. By using the feeder with the perches on, you can give your hummingbird friends a place to rest while they dine. Or, if your hummingbird feeders are frequently plagued by woodpeckers or other unwanted birds, you can use the feeder without perches. Hummingbirds can hover while they feed, but other birds can’t.
Locking Channel Minimizes Leaks
If you’ve ever walked outside to find drops of nectar on the ground from a leaky hummingbird feeder, you know how frustrating it can be. Not only is it a waste of nectar, but it’s a mess as well. Issues like those are exactly why we’ve created this feeder with a locking channel in the base. It creates a nice tight seal to minimize leaks!
Feeders may loosen during shipment. Before filling for the first time, tighten the bottle onto the base to ensure no leaking.
Comes Apart For Easy Cleaning
Hummingbirds prefer to visit fresh, clean feeding stations. To make that easier, this feeder disassembles for effortless cleaning. Easily separate the base, bottle, and lid. You can even pull apart the base and remove the feeding ports and perches! Remember to clean your feeder at least once per week with a mild soap and water solution to prevent mildew buildup; clean more often in hot weather.

Perky-Pet® Top-Fill Grand Master Plastic Hummingbird Feeder
I'm thrilled with this feeder. I've been feeding hummingbirds for years and now keep four feeders going. I go through roughly a gallon of nectar every two days so I love the larger capacity. I've had less issues with bees with this feeder as well. I'll be replacing my other feeders with this same model later this summer.
Top fill Grand Master, great feeder. One does have to make sure it's secured properly or it does leak. Only issue I've had is taking the locking mechanism apart for cleaning. The back plastic gasket is flimsy. I rinse out the black sponge really good too.
The feeder is fantastic. The hummingbirds won't use it. I have two feeders of different kinds. The other feeder has red parts and red flowers. The hummers love that one and won't go to this Top Fill Grand Master feeder. They don't like the bright yellow flowers. I read to paint them with nail polish but I don't like that idea so I tried to dye them with food coloring. They came out a kind of orange color. Will put it back together and try this. Change the flowers to red and you a have a real winner.
Thank you for this feedback. We're sorry to hear that the birds did not seem interested in this feeder. We've shared these suggestions with our Product Managers.

Just bought the feeder and it leaks like crazy. Purchased at Lowe's. I am taking it back tomorrow.
Poor design.

Bought this because having problem with bees in other feeder. This said keeps bees out. Ha! They are swarming this one and chasing Hummingbirds away! Have video but won't let me upload. Nor pictures.
Thank you for sharing this feedback. We're sorry to hear that this is happening to your feeder. If bees are swarming, we recommend to first check that the feeder is not leaking. Then, remove it for a few days so that the bees find a different food source. Reach out to us via the Contact Us page with any questions.

This is the third review ...

This is the third review I have done. I had success using up to a 1/2 cup of sugar solution (1/2 cup sugar and 4 cups of water blend), it did not leak from the flowers. Today I used a full cup of sugar and 4 cups of water solution, and it leaked badly from the flowers. I really like the feeder and so do the hummers. I will now only use up to a 1/2 cup of sugar and 4 cups of water solution. Not sure if the pressure of the added water affects internal pressure. I think the holes are at or below the reservoir allowing the solution to escape. I'll leave the 3 star rating.
I provided a review earlier giving it a 1 star. I've since taken it apart and put it back together with success. I will note I did not fill up full but after two batches of my solution (1 sugar to 4 water) it is working now. I used a 1/3 cup first then next used a 1/2 cup. Up next is a full cup. I like the big flowers and the birds like it 2 to 1. I'm up to 3 stars now. I did want to come back with a report.
This feeder leaks badly, coming out of the flowers. There have been several notes below as to this condition. Seems the flower opening is below the top of the reservoir allowing the solution to leak out. I tried to pull the flowers out a bit thinking it would get the flower above the reservoir but didn't help. Am I missing something?
We're sorry to hear that your feeder is leaking! Be sure to check that the base is tight, and that the bottle neck threads line up correctly to help prevent leaking. For best results, we recommend hanging the feeder in the shade as well as out of high traffic or windy areas.

Just purchased the feeder yesterday, filled and hung this morning. So disappointed as it is leaking from each of the flowers. About 3/4 empty from the leaking. Any suggestions? Thanks
We're sorry to hear this feeder is leaking! This is often caused by a loose connection, either between the reservoir and the top or the reservoir and the base. If this doesn't resolve the issue, please contact us at 855-737-5973, we're happy to help.
Where can I get just the replacement flowers for Feeder # 9214-6? I just need the flowers. I love this feeder and so do my Hummingbirds.
