Can I get replacement chain for this feeder? We have bears that take it down from time to time and some of the chain breaks or gets too stretched out.

Product is pictured with the metal chain. Is that how it is sold? The plastic ones are junk.

Thank you for contacting us. Clean the feeders at least once a week, more often in warmer weather. Do not place your feeder in the dishwasher! Use warm water, and mild dish soap only.

The stirrer is not required for every feeding. The jelly will typically settle and move down on its own due to gravity as orioles feed from the feeder. The stirrer can be used occasionally if the jelly becomes packed or is not moving down as expected. For best results, avoid overpacking the jelly and clean the feeder regularly to help maintain proper flow and feeding access.
