Forgot to mention that I added two large cabinet bumpers to the bottom edge of the feeder. It leveled the feeder and there was less pulling on the suction cups.

I was concerned that the suction cups would never hold the feeder during bad weather conditions. I had called Perky Pet and the person with whom I spoke had no information concerning this issue. However, I can now tell you without hesitation and from two years experience that the suctions cups hold very well! They are still attached to the window through two sticky hot and humid Minnesota summers and two miserably cold and dry Minnesota winters. I have removed the feeder many times to clean and refill. Removing the feeder requires a bit of tugging and it also reattaches the same but the suction cups have never popped lose. Possibly the following factors contributed to the excellent holding power: I did clean the window glass with a cleaner and rinsed thoroughly with water to remove any residual cleaner. I added a couple drops of water to each suction cup before applying to the glass. The feeder is located under an eave on the east side of our house and is protected from direct exposure to rain and snow and sunlight. I fill it to the top edge with sunflower seeds which are bit lighter in weight than some other seeds. Anyway, keep up the good work. Love Perky Pet. Now if you can just tell me how to convince hummingbirds to be a little less "pugnacious." They remind me of Maverick and Iceman from Top Gun! :-)

So in love with this feeder, and hours of viewing pleasure, however the suction broke one day and when the feeder fell it broke in half at the seams! I am trying to glue it, but don't anticipate much success with the weight of the birds that used it. I will have to look for a model that doesn't snap together.

We love these feeders. We have one outside our kitchen table window and while we are eating, we watch all the birds come and have a nibble or two. We even have Rock Doves that can fit in the opening, just barely. With all the sun, I replace mine once they get old and crackly looking. I do wish there were not as many slots on the bottom as we have some little birds that do the "Twist and Shout" in the feeder and send a good deal of feed to the ground. We enjoy watching them dance! But with a little shipping tape, I've solved that problem and it prevents the feeder from separating when the big birds get in the queue.

Very inexpensive way of commencing one's ambition to birdwatch. However, I must confess I simply wanted to allow my pet cats a chance to do the same. It's their favourite hobby! Win-win situation, as inexpensive, cats go crazy and birds get fed (unharmed). This product is exactly what it 'says on the box'. It's terribly simple, it's incredibly easy to set up, it's effective and it is definitely in line with my VFM (value for money) ethos. As a beginner, this is a very wise choice. If you want something more complicated, then upgrade at a later stage. Very happy with this product.

Fell off the window after the first day. Haven't tried putting it back up.

I previously had a very similar window feeder that finally just wore out and needed to be replaced. I ordered 2 of these, 1 for myself and 1 for my 92 year old mother who lives in an assisted living facility. I had tried to install hangers on her windows with suction cups, but none of them would stick. No problem with these!! So far they've stuck like glue and the birds seem to love them! My old window feeder didn't have the enclosed sides...just a "dish" to hold the seeds and a roof over the top. This allowed the rain and snow to accumulate and made a real mess. There also were no drainage holes, causing me to drill holes to let the water escape. A few days ago we had a real frog strangling gully washer storm that dumped almost 3 inches of rain in about an hour. This little feeder did its job and kept the contents reasonably dry. I'm so happy with these feeders that a plan to buy a couple more for winter use after I take down my hummingbird feeders. I would highly recommend these feeders...price, ease of use, easy ordering and fast shipping all figure in to this recommendation.

We Have 2 and the finches and tit mice love it. Suction cups work great, no slippage. Feed stays dry in the rain. Easy to maintain.

It was easy to find what I was looking for and it was a good price

I have had several window feeders and by far, this one is the best! It protects the seed from weather and so far my squirrels have not been able to get into this one! I like that is has drainage holes in the bottom to keep the seed from holding moisture and you can detach the feeder from the suction cups when it needs to be cleaned. I would recommend this to fellow birders!
