How to Submit a Sighting Image

Visit the perkypet.com Hummingbird Migration Map. Select the “Submit Sighting” button. Follow the instructions in the prompt to upload a photo and details of your hummingbird sighting. Photographs must be relevant to migration map and the hummingbird species you’ve sighted.

Images should be uploaded in jpeg, jpg or gif file format, and be larger than 400 pixels x 400 pixels. Digital photographs should be taken at highest resolution possible. High-quality scans of non-digital photographs are acceptable.

Entrant must be the owner of the photograph, or otherwise have the right to submit the photograph to be displayed on perkypet.com. By submitting the image, participants agree to the use of his/her photograph and/or statements for advertising/publicity purposes, both online and in printed materials, without notice or further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Each photograph submitted must be approved for posting on perkypet.com; photographs may be approved or rejected based on suitability. Participants may enter as many photographs as they like. If there is a dispute about whom the email address or photograph belongs to, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to submit the sighting will be deemed to be the participant and must comply with these rules. Authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain name associated with the submitted e-mail address.
