5 days of use and the Swivel ports were damaged by birds beyond use. Once damaged you have to seal off the port. Manufacturer should provide the purchase of new swivel ports. If they were metal swivels it would be great. Now all are damaged and the feeder is useless. 2 weeks total use. Wish I could purchase new swivel ports.

We purchased 2 feeders from Ace Hardware to replace old tube feeders we had.
Everything was great the first week but then a squirrel managed to get on our metal pole and broke one of the ports.
I call the support line to see if we could replace a replacement port cover but was told no parts are available.

This feeder works well, but only if you can keep it away from the squirrels. I am on number 2. The squirrels destroyed number 1. Tip: Hang it at least 18 inches from the top point on your vertical structure and at least 2 feet from any horizontal structure... that cured my squirrel issue. Now I have the racoon problem! The racoons come out at night and have more range! It is too bad that the inserts are not replaceable.

Meh.
I was excited about this huge feeder ... so were the squirrels. The capacity was great, but the down side was how quickly they essentially dismantled the ports. Ended up getting another Squirrel-be-gone.

Best bird feeders... easy quick and holds a lot of birdseed so you don't have to refill daily... I have 4 on a quad shepherds hooks and holds 20 to 30 birds sometimes...

Just got the 2-in-1 XL from ACE Hardware. I have chickadees- Crested Titmouse-Cardinals-Wrens and others. I live in central Florida. The Issue is that the cardinals and other birds that size can't perch on the stand to get feed. Perch to close to tube.

All the ports are gone in less than 2 weeks. Not sure if it was the birds or a squirrel. Haven't seen a squirrel on it. As others have said, all the seed pours out. Not as good of a feeder compared to other perky-pet feeders.

The squirrels have destroyed the plastic perches. It would certainly be nice if you had replacement perches or made them metal.

Great Feeder, Port issues

Hi, I love this feeder as do the birds, but the swivel ports keep getting pecked off. I now have one missing and the seed flows out. Please tell me what to do. A replacement port would be great and a way to secure them. Thanks I love this feeder.
