Review RateLooks cute but not really functional
I bought this a few weeks ago in the middle of a heat wave. The sparrows and house finches were drinking all the water in my ant moats on my hummer feeders. While this may be fine for really small birds like goldfinches, I notice that the shape interferes with the other birds, they have to turn sideways to get to the water, and that means they are sometimes pooping in the water. Will be ordering one of the slimmer types.Response From Perky-Pet®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative

I am disappointed that the birds won't drink from this cute Droplet Waterer. I ordered 2 and will not order anymore.Response From Perky-Pet®Jennifer : Consumer Relations Representative
We apologize for this experience. Birds are creatures of habit and it may take time for them to become comfortable with a new feeder/waterer in their environment. We recommend temporarily removing established feeders/waterer's to aide the transition.

I bought this because I constantly see birds trying to drink from the hummingbird feeders. I have it hanging right near the bird feeder but I have not seen much activity so far and it has been up for about a month.Response From Perky-Pet®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative
We appreciate the time taken to provide this feedback and apologize for the experience.
A number of seed-eating birds can be found feeding from hummingbird feeders, including orioles, finches, sparrows, and woodpeckers. They are not using it just as a source of water, but will eat sweet fruits in nature and enjoy the nectar. We do recommend providing water for birds. However if other water sources are nearby, these creatures of habit may take some time to get used to a new source.
Feel free to contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973) with any additional questions.
Review RateNot as hoped
I love the idea but the water gets blown out too easy and if a bigger bird lands on it, it will down over! I hope they go back to the drawing board and do some thing better!!!Response From Perky-Pet®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateNice waterer
Love this waterer. Simple to fill, and good perch size for a variety of birds. So far only a few of the birds are using it, but I'm sure word will travel fast!
Review RateDroplet Bird waterer
I like the droplet Bird waterer I put it near my bird house and It is very east to clean and keep fresh water for the birds.
Review RateLiving HopefullyI purchased the waterer because I had noticed how hot and thirsty the birds at my feeder sometimes appeared. After braiding a hanger for it, I hung it in my tree near the feeder. The seem to be frightened by it so far, but some of the younger birds are at least using the feeder a little bit. I live in hope that they will adjust to it's presence if they get hungry enough.
Review RateGreat looking!Had it out for 2 weeks..haven't seen one bird at it!Response From Perky-Pet®Tara : Consumer Relations RepresentativeWe recommend placing placing the waterer within 10-15 feet of bushes and shrubs, in a sheltered location from the wind.

Review RateHelpful in the DesertI live in the desert and the birds need all the help they can to get a drink of water.
Review RateGreat addition to the bird feeders. We've had bird feeders for quite some time, but they were for just Hummingbirds, or seed dispensers. Now with this water dispenser, more birds come in to our yard, and birds that we don't get to see very often.
