THEY LEAK !

I have had 12 of these for over 10 years. This year I decided to replace them due to "crazing" of the plastic tube. I had to go through Tractor Supply instead of being able to order straight from Perky Pet. Have put all 8 of the new feeders out and all they do is leak feed all over my porch. All 8 feeders leak from the underneath of the bottom of the tray. The flowers do not seal tightly and have already started attracting bees. CRAPPY JOB Perky Pet ! MADE IN CHINA !

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We are sorry to hear that your feeder is leaking. When filling a feeder, it is important to ensure that the base and bottle are tightened so they are snug. We also suggest hanging the feeder in a shaded location, free of wind and direct sunlight. As the sun warms up the nectar inside the bottle, the liquid will expand, which can cause some to leak. If the area is overly windy, the feeder will tilt, disrupting the vacuum inside the feeder, allowing the nectar to pour out.
If these tips don't resolve the leaking, it can be returned to the retailer for either a refund or exchange.

I love this feeder! And so do the hummingbirds. We have hundreds of birds in the summer as they migrate north. I have to fill 2 of these twice a day.
Holds alot of sugar water, but plastic parts break easily

This unit holds alot of sugar water, but it leaked too soon after using only about 3 months.

We're sorry to hear about that! Be sure to check that the base is tight, and that the bottle neck threads line up correctly to help prevent leaking. For best results, we recommend hanging the feeder in the shade as well as out of high traffic or windy areas. Our feeders are covered under a 1-year replacement policy. I would like to give a 5 star but unfortunately I ordered 2 of these off Amazon, one works wonderful & the other feeder is defective. Once I fill it with sugar water the bottom plastic piece does not lock into place like the other feeder. it is very loose therefore when I hung it the bottom came lose & it came apart. It was also missing two of the feeder flower ports. My other complaint is that my good one did actually lose one of the feeder flower port & not on Amazon or Perky-Pet website can I order replacement flowers for my good one. They show about 5 different replacement flowers & non are made for this Perky-Pet The Grand Master Hummingbird Feeder model 220-06.

I do not Like this feeder at all, I've had it happen many times that I lose all my nectar...the base doesn't stay connected, and it all gushes down..making a mess. Also I've had Orioles able to peck out one of the flower shapes, and again, I lose all my nectar. I have stopped using mine due to all the nectar loss, which can be spendy to make.

I do not like this hummingbird feeder at all, the design is flawed....so many times I make my mixture of sugar water, and it you bump it the least little bit, it shifts and the bottom falls out, and you lose all your nectar. It leaks, and It's not because I fill it too full. no matter how much nectar I put in, it leaks. It was spendy, and not worth the money at all.

Easy to use but the loose fitting ports leak nectar with any motion from wind, birds etc. This attracts all manner of bees which discourage the hummingbirds.

I like this, but the holes are to big, the yellowjacket bees can crawl through them and come back out. I'm going to replace the flowers with smaller holes.

5 STAR FEEDER! Bought these from perky pet have 11 need 5 more now can’t order from perky pet so sad!!! What happens to customer loyalty and great service. Why oh why?
