I own 3 of the regular 30 oz Perky Pet hummer feeders and LOVE them since they're durable and come apart so to clean. I decided to get this Grand Master but upon getting it I see the top does not screw like my smaller Perky Pet hummer feeders but has more of a sliding/lock mechanism. I filled up the bottle part with nectar and then I struggled to get it secured onto the red bottom. I thought I had it on but upon flipping it over, the bottle part separated from the red bottom and nectar spilled everywhere. I tried again and then the red bottom--which consists of 2 parts--came apart!! I sent it back to Amazon. Next time I will get the 30 oz Perky Pet--no more Grand Master...

I've had several of these over the years. Some were damaged by hail or dropping them but that's not Perky Pet's fault. In general, if you wash and clean them regularly (include all the parts) they'll last many years. The hummers love it and you won't have to fill it as often (just once or twice a week in peak season). we get ruby throats and rufous hummingbirds primarily,.

Warning, I purchased this feeder late in the season because I accidentally dropped the one I had. I used it for about a month that year and the whole next season, which was last year. This year, when I got it out to use again, one of the flowers fell off. When I checked the other flowers two more fell off. The little plastic rings that hold the flowers on had literally disintegrated. I contacted the manufacturer to buy replacement rings and they said they do not sell replacement rings and because it is more than one year old, they would not replace the rings under warranty. Really? This is clearly a defective product that lasted less than two seasons! I knew the warranty was over and i said I would pay for the replacement rings. The rubber rings could not cost more than a few cents each and could be sent in an envelope for less than a dollar. They offered to give me a fifteen percent off on a new feeder, that lasts only one season. I loved the feeder while it lasted, but I will never buy another product from this company.

They are poorly protected during shipment but they are the best feeders as far as ease of cleaning and the hummers love the design. Our hummers DO NOT like the bee guard flowers. Also, they seem to like the less angled base.

Leak’s terribly from the first day I use it. The hummingbirds love it but it is making such a mess and attracting ants with all the dripping.

I purchased 2 Perky Pet hummingbird Grand Master feeder from Amazon and they are both junk. Base leaks from the bottom side on both once they were filled. I guess I'll throw them away and go to the Wild Bird store and buy some good ones!

Bought the perky pet squirrel be gone did not have up 2 weeks squirrels destroyed this feeder is a joke

I've been using these for years, great, no problems, i put 8 out everyyear been using these for years

Holes in yellow buttons are way too big now. Yellow jackets are able to crawl in and out causing them to swarm. I’ve own several of these over the years and not had this problem before. I will be looking elsewhere to replace next year.

I love this feeder, but why don't you also make same design in a 2 cup size. This is your only feeder that does not leak
