I have two of these hummingbird feeders. I love them because they’re plastic and they’re red. It gets really windy where I’m at in the afternoon so I do not want a glass one to fall break. The But hummingbirds are attracted to it and they’re constantly at both of them, have had them for over 6 years. Please don’t stop making this one.!!

I've been buying the Perky-Pet large Our Best feeders for years. They used to last two or three seasons before the plastic top/bottom became unusable due to sun damage. A few years ago something must have changed in the plastic, they are now single season, one year and plastic is toast. And now the cost to order two of even the cheaper all plastic version is $40. Just fyi I'm looking for different feeders.

I have the same problem as others here. The thing leaks. It is in the shade. There isn't any wind but it still leaks. Ambient temperature is in the lower 80's if that high. So what is the answer?

Order of hummingbird feeders arrived timely and the quality was exactly what I expected. It's nice that the rail around the bottom is removeable.
Our hummingbirds love this feeder!

Our hummingbirds love this feeder! The red works better than the clear and I really like to 30 oz capacity. I have two and have no problem tightening it up. Don't overtighten but just really snug it up and it doesn't leak. Ordering two more. Highly recommend for pacific northwest.

We purchased two top fill feeders and both leaked. The product is JUNK. Not spending another dime on this product!!

You cannot get a tight vacuum seal on the feeder so you have to redesign it. This feeder is unacceptable and leaks. It does not tighten no matter how hard you try. there is still a slit at the bottom that allows liquid to leak no matter how hard you tighten.

When filling a feeder, it is important to ensure that the base and bottle are tightened so they are snug. We also suggest hanging the feeder in a shaded location, free of wind and direct sunlight. As the sun warms up the nectar inside the bottle, the liquid will expand, which can cause some to leak.

Excellent feeder as long as the bears stay away

This is probably the best hummingbird feeder I have ever owned. However it does have a specific flaw which makes it unusable in my part of Downeast Maine. For some reason a bear has taken a liking to it and it regularly tears the perch from the feeder which makes it impossible to use. I will have to revert to a feeder with an integrated perch. The Hummers seem to use the perch with some regularity. Also. it pays to purchase directly from Perky Pet. Our local big box store sells them for 33% more
Don't buy this, no instructions, flimsy.

Never owned a hummingbird feeder before. This one gets 1 star because it has no instructions. I did figure out how to assemble it but nowhere dies it tell you how to fill it, mount it, clean it. It's getting returned.
