HUMMINGBIRD FEEDER

I have the same problem as others here. The thing leaks. It is in the shade. There isn't any wind but it still leaks. Ambient temperature is in the lower 80's if that high. So what is the answer?

Order of hummingbird feeders arrived timely and the quality was exactly what I expected. It's nice that the rail around the bottom is removeable.

Our hummingbirds love this feeder! The red works better than the clear and I really like to 30 oz capacity. I have two and have no problem tightening it up. Don't overtighten but just really snug it up and it doesn't leak. Ordering two more. Highly recommend for pacific northwest.

We purchased two top fill feeders and both leaked. The product is JUNK. Not spending another dime on this product!!

You cannot get a tight vacuum seal on the feeder so you have to redesign it. This feeder is unacceptable and leaks. It does not tighten no matter how hard you try. there is still a slit at the bottom that allows liquid to leak no matter how hard you tighten.

This is probably the best hummingbird feeder I have ever owned. However it does have a specific flaw which makes it unusable in my part of Downeast Maine. For some reason a bear has taken a liking to it and it regularly tears the perch from the feeder which makes it impossible to use. I will have to revert to a feeder with an integrated perch. The Hummers seem to use the perch with some regularity. Also. it pays to purchase directly from Perky Pet. Our local big box store sells them for 33% more

Never owned a hummingbird feeder before. This one gets 1 star because it has no instructions. I did figure out how to assemble it but nowhere dies it tell you how to fill it, mount it, clean it. It's getting returned.

I love the idea it is easier to clean under the flowers, where I have not been able to get them very clean with out socking a long time. These feeders are so much easier to clean. Thank you very much.

This is my first review though I have had your feeders for more than a year. I got the special buy 3 get 1 free and I have been disappointed as follows: The bee guard doesn't keep the bees from landing, but it does prohibit the Rufous male hummer from being able to sit and drink - he is too small and the guard sticks out too much for him. I hate this addition to the flowers. I have had up to 10 hummers on a single 6 flower feeder in the past and they would share the flower - taking turns to drink. They can't do this with the outcrop of the guard. The flow of nectar to the bottom is not consistent and I have lost hummers to other food sources because when they come to drink it may be empty but the glass bottle is full. I have to continually go outside on the back deck to gently shake the bottles. I usually have 3 hummers out and the summer before last the hummers were full - maybe 30 or more hummers visited me every day. Bring back the old style, at least as a replacement part. I get that you want to sell the entire feeder - but I have dozens of your glass jugs and no bottoms. Secondly, the new design doesn't keep the water from leaking out of the moat. No matter how much I tighten the lid it still leaks when I put in too much water, but if I don't pour enough in to overflow it evaporates in an 8 hour span in the sun. I was filling the moat morning and evening and the ants still got in. Since you have changed your overall design - lid and bottom I can't use the old bottles. Please make replacement parts. I don't care if you charge triple the price - I will pay it. If you start to make the old feeders again and call them retro or whatever, old technology I will buy them.
