That’s why we’ve developed this feeder with soft, flexible zinnia-inspired feeding ports to offer a more natural look and feel. The vibrant red color and realistic flower shape are perfect for attracting hummers, while the five ports ensure there’s enough room for multiple birds to dine simultaneously.Naturally Keeps Out Bees With this feeder, there’s no need for an added bee guard. The specially designed feeding ports feature a long “stem” that prevents bees from gaining access to the nectar, while hummingbirds will have no trouble at all! It’s a natural way of keeping out pesky bees without adding extra parts for you to clean.Gasket Prevents Leaks If you’ve ever walked outside to find drops of nectar on the ground from a leaky hummingbird feeder, you know how frustrating it can be. Issues like those are exactly why we’ve created this feeder with a gasket in the base. It creates a nice tight seal so there’s no more leaks.
Note: Feeders may loosen during shipment. Before filling for the first time, tighten the bottle onto the base to ensure no leaking.Comes Apart for Easy Cleaning Hummingbirds prefer to visit fresh, clean feeding stations. To make that easier, this feeder disassembles for effortless cleaning. Easily separate the base, bottle and lid. You can even pull apart the base and remove the feeding ports! Remember to clean your feeder at least once per week with a mild soap and water solution to prevent mildew buildup; clean more often in hot weather.Accessorize Your Hummingbird Feeder When you’re feeding many birds, having the right accessories can make the experience that much more enjoyable. Review RateLeaking PortsI love the color and ease of filling this hummingbird feeder. However, the slightest tilt causes the syrup to run right out of the ports. I think a solid slightly elevated port would solve the problem.
Review RateFaulty design
This feeder does not hold 16 oz. of liquid. I poured nectar about half way up, and it all settled into the base. The only nectar remaining in the feeder was in the base. When I added more, it leaked out of the ports. This is a faulty design. This is my second try with these feeders, and I have had no luck.Response From Perky-Pet®Rachel : Consumer Relations Representative

I bought one of these. Plus side - it is much easier to clean. Minus side - my Birds still prefer the glass Perky Pet feeders old style. Somewhat disappointed.
Review RateHummers do not like it!
I bought this feeder, and my hummers do not like, or use, it at all. It has been hanging since early May. I change the water frequently, but they go to the openings, and seem to be unable to get to the nectar. They then visit my other feeder. Can I possibly cut the rubber tubes to make them shorter? Otherwise this feeder is not usable.Response From Perky-Pet®Kathryn : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateCold liquid will cause leak
To the one who said it leaked right away.... Be sure you do not put cold liquid or refrigerated liquid in a warm feeder and put right out on the heat. I learned pretty quickly that will make any feeder leak. Not sure why but it does it every time. I warm purified water in microwave just enough to melt sugar into that then add more room temperature purified water to recipe level and hang out. Works great and no leaks.
Review Ratewouldnt buy.
