Review RateCardinals love it
I bought this feeder a couple months ago to attract the Cardinals. It worked, I have amazing photos of them feeding off it. I absolutely love it.
Review RateGreat bird feeder for mealworms
Have purchased 2 of your No/No Cardinal wild bird feeders and LOVE THEM. However I think you should rethink AND add to your audience for purchasing. I am currently using one of these feeders for my Eastern Bluebirds for dried mealworms and THIS FEEDER WORKS LIKE A CHARM. The large roof provides ample coverage for the dried mealworms (we’ve recently had 22 inches of rain in 2 months) and NO WET MEALWORMS
Review RateReview of Red Cardinal Bird feeder
I recently purchased the Red Cardinal squirrel proof feeder from Lee Valley Co. So far the squirrel's are enjoying curling up around the feeder tray and eating away at the black oil seeds to their hearts content. I think they are keeping the birds away, as well. Perhaps a new location may be necessary with piano wire.Response From Perky-Pet®Kathryn : Consumer Relations Representative
We are sorry to hear the squirrels are troubling you! Try adding cayenne pepper to your seed mix to deter them, they won't like the spicy taste, but the birds don't care. Please feel free to contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973) for assistance or with any questions. We are happy to help!
Review RateVery good review.
Love this feeder..best one I have. I see many birds feeding from it. The Cardinals love it. I bought it for a cousin for Christmas also.
The cardinals immediately used it much to my delight. The biggest birds have some difficulties in obtaining a simple seed. I appreciated the fast delivery. P.s. I would like to have the information in French if it was possible, Thank you.
Review RateJust what I needed
Was looking for something that the birds couldn't eat all the food in one day. This did the trick.
Review RateGreat Bundle
Great Feeder! In less than a week we have a variety of birds (including Cardinals) Very well made and easy! Shipped quickly! We love it!
Review RateVery popular with the local flock! This feeder was a snap to fill and it's attracted a wide range of birds. I like the fact that it shipped completely flat.
Review RateExcellent QualityThe feeder appears to be of excellent quality. I am very happy that I purchased it.
Review RateDidn\'t stop themI bought this feeder through Amazon last fall. It took a few months, but those muscular acrobats finally muscled their way between the upper rim and the wire mesh body. Forcing themselves into the interior of the feeder, they emptied it within an afternoon. No more no no's for me, it's in the recycling bin.Response From Perky-Pet®Tara : Consumer Relations RepresentativeWe appreciate the feedback and apologize for this experience.
This feeder is very durable and is made of all metal and can stand up to squirrels damage. To keep squirrels away from the feeder we recommend placing the feeder at least 10 feet away from the nearest squirrel launching site, such as a tree or fence and at least 5 feet off the ground. Squirrels can jump 8 feet horizontally and 4 feet vertically.
