Solid, not flimsy By Glenn
Solid, not flimsy. Should last long time. Large feeding tray for the larger birds. May lose little more seed because of large feeding area but more birds will use it. Very steady after you put seed in it. Does not easily blow around. Birds came to it within 5 minutes and seem to love it.

Great Feeder! By Sebrina

I was so happy with this feeder that I immediately bought another one! I was unable to find a feeder at the stores with a large enough tray for the bigger birds. This one works great for all the birds and looks good as well.

Attractive Feeder By Bird
Very attractive feeder which first caught my eye. It has a large platform perimeter allowing small and larger birds to feed. The platform has many drain holes. Put a clear baffle above it and the squirrels are deterred, and the baffle helps to keep the seed dry. Happy with the purchase.

Great design, but... By Zardozzebad
Slats where food comes out are way too large for a mixed seed. Need to be much smaller, lost track of how much has ended on the grass because of this.

Works for me By Skip in Va
I originally bought one because I didn't know what to expect. It was a hit with my backyard "pals" so I bought another one. Today I bought my third one to go on a triple hanger and if the birds keep coming I'll be using my social security check to buy bird feed! They love it!

Had it for years By
This is a nice feeder that I have had for several years. It holds a nice amount of black oil sunflower seed. My only complaint is that the seed get's tossed out on the ground by the blue jays and I have to refill it every other day or sometimes every day.

This is a quality feeder. The birds can stand on the little ledge on each of the four sides and feed. The glass lets you see if this is full or not. I've had several feeders and this by far is the best!

Q.I bought the lantern feeder and I’m trying to put it on a pole. I have some accessories from the pole kit but can’t figure out how to place this feeder on the pole. Thanks

Placing this feeder on a pole is easier than you may expect! Simply insert the pole into the slot on the bottom of the feeder.

Q.What size pole would I need? I currently hang a squirrel proof feeder from a pole with a flower hook. I don't think I could do that with this feeder because the squirrel could easily reach it. If I use a pole, how do I go about adding a dome for additional rain protection. Thank you

This feeder works well with the Perky-Pet® Universal Bird Feeder Pole (Model 5107-4) and the Perky-Pet® Transparent Squirrel Baffler (Model 340).

Q.what are the dimensions?

The depth and width of the feeder are 8.12 inches and the height is 10.26 inches.
