Not the best in its class

I have used this feeder for years but they all eventually fail at the red clips that hold the reservoir to the base. In most cases one clip tends to keep them together but eventually the last one breaks away and it's time to buy a new one. Doesn’t even make one summer.

I do not recommend this model with the oversized suction cup mount.

I just received my order of the #217. Not my first rodeo with this model and you have somehow figured that the customer has got to continue to wrestle with the suction cups that have a post that is to big to get the feeder hung on it properly. Jerk a knot in someones sail and get this straitened out. And don't suggest to hang it on a nail or screw,,,it is a WINDOW MOUNT FEEDER. I do not recommend this model with oversized suction cup mount.

The newer ones somebody forgot to see if the suction cup fit the feeder. I used to buy these around 6-10 at a time and give them away but i don't anymore because you can't window mount they should say mount them to a post or outside. I still like them because i had superglued up old suction cups (otherwise after a short period of time they fall off.

I love the way the suction cup sticks to the window but I don’t like the prongs. Mine broke too and it’s frustrating when you pay money for a product and it doesn’t last.

The hummingbirds in Washington state love this feeder and it is so fun watching them up close.
Worked at the Ornthology Lab at Cornell, learned about birds and have fed and cared for them ever since.

The hummers are just crazy about this one! I can't believe how much use this one feeder gets, especially since it's a kitchen window & there's a lot of activity in there. They put on quite a show for me chasing after one another. Yes, the prongs have a tendency to break. I had to replace it. But at this price and how popular it is, I'll replace again if I have to.

I have one that started to break so needed a replacement. It has lasted a long time and I will continue to use these. The hummingbirds love this feeder!

I have purchased two of these feeders from Amazon, each time the prongs have broken which makes it unusable.
I love the way they stick to my kitchen window and how I can see the hummingbirds but hate how hard it is to remove the base from the container. I am at my wits end! I believe it only fair if the company would send me a new feeder free of charge. Thank you for your consideration.
