Either way, the feeder promises exciting and intriguing sightings throughout the day.

Easy to Fill and Clean - This feeder's clear reservoir detaches from the feeding base and comes with a wide mouth opening for easy filling. The two perches and the snap-on yellow-flower accents also detach from the base to ensure convenient access and thorough cleaning. Keep the feeder clean and filled with fresh nectar to ensure return visits from hummingbirds. Perky-Pet® recommends cleaning the feeder at least twice a week, more often in very warm climates or seasons.

Perfect By Blondie

I love the ones that go on the window I order them every year because you can’t find them in stores. It’s nice to sit by my window and watch. Oh and my cat loves them also!

Wish it lasted longer. Plastics gets brittle and breaks. By Lisa

I love thus feeder, though it does wear out quickly. I have replaced it several times, but I love having the hummingbirds at my kitchen window. I tried a glass model, but it seemed to heavy for the suction cups and kept falling until it broke.

window mount plastic hummingbird feeder does not last long By milly

I agree with several of the reviews on the window mount plastic feeder. The prongs only last 1 year. I just threw one out because the prong broke. Even if I have a one year warranty, mine was bought at the end of season last yr, and I have no receipt to show for it, so I guess I'm out of luck on getting a replacement or refund.

Product did not last even 4 months. By Sandy

Like others have noted this is a poorly designed feeder and did not even last 1 season. One of the 2 tabs that hold the resevoir to the base has already fallen off. The red color has faded terribly in less than 4 months. I do not have my receipt to return this bird feeder but I definately would. It makes me leary to try another Perky pet product.

Gives great views of the hummers - just be gentle with the "latch" prongs. By Vivian Wagner

This feeder hangs on our kitchen window, and gives us the opportunity for frequent, close-up looks at the hummers (a male, a female and a juvenile) who come to feed. My husband (confined to a wheelchair) loves it. Our old one did have one of the 2 back hooks that hold the 2 pieces together break after several years' use. We were able to make it work for another year, but it wasn't the best, so I ordered new ones. Highly recommend it, but be careful when snapping it together after refilling.

Great feeder since hummingbirds love it; just one flaw; plastic prongs wear out. By Birdfeeder

All hummingbirds in backyard love this feeder. Not sure why it's favored over the hanging ones but whatever they want is ok with me. Currently I have about 12-15 hummingbirds but have had more in the past. Have had these for years but need to replace every other year due to the plastic prongs breaking. The prongs just wear out after having to refill the tube every day. Perhaps Perky Pet could make a larger one so I wouldn't have to refill as often or design feeder without having to squeeze plastic prongs to attach the feeder tube.

Wonderful Hummingbird Feeder By Wendi

This is the second window mount hummingbird feeder I have purchased. I truly love this feeder because it stays stuck on the window and I can view the little beauties while they feed. The feeder itself is well constructed and lasts a long time. The only reason I purchased another one is because the old one is a little faded and the new one was on sale so I thought why not get a spare just in case. I am still using the old one right now. The only downside to this feeder is that it is difficult to fully clean the bottom part of the feeder. All I do is run very hot water over it and then shake it out. I highly recommend this feeder to anyone who wants to marvel at these little wonders of nature.

Unhappy with new design By Lou

Although, I like the fact that the feeders mount on a window, the newer design with the prongs on the base is inferior. Offering a one year guarantee does not solve the problem. Change the design back to the original where the prongs are not on the base. That design lasted for years. The prongs on the base break frequently and I can no longer recommend this otherwise wonderful feeder to others

Our Garden Song® Window Mounted Glass Hummingbird Feeder, a glass feeder that threads into the base, may be a design that you enjoy. This can be found at the link below.

Q.I have 14 of these feeders but honey bees swarm to them and drive away the hummers. Do you have bee guards that fit this model? Do you make a model that has bee guards built in? Would you consider offering them in the future?

To help deter the bees, we recommend moving the feeders periodically. We do not offer bee guards for our Window Mount Hummingbird Feeders and apologize for any inconvenience. The feedback is appreciated and has been passed along to our Product Managers.

Q.I have used the flat window feeder for years. Can you purchase perches separately as this is what seems to get broken most often.

Currently, we do not offer replacement parts for this feeder.

Q.I have two of these window mount feeders. I LOVE them, and so do the hummers. However, I can't think of any way to ant-proof them. I have ant moats for my hanging feeders that work great, but there is a constant ant march up the window to these feeders. Any ideas?

There are some plants that help repel ants. You could also try some natural remedies for repelling ants.
