Love It! By Nat

I like this feeder a lot. It was so much fun to watch the process the little birds figure first went through trying to figure out the best way to get the seeds inside. In time, they determined it was safe to enter the openings. I love the design because it is attractive and stylish. I like that larger birds are leaving this feeder alone as they are confused by the outer cage-like barrier. So far, squirrels have not bothered it either; they have other options here and go for the challenges that those feeders and barriers provide them.

Truly squirrel-proof By Campnwuman

This is the only truly squirrel-proof feeder I have ever purchased. Even after three years! But birds from finches to red-bellied woodpeckers and bluejays have no problem chowing down.

Not even winter and already the squirrels have ruined this feeder By Steve
This feeder is badly designed - the whole thing is held up by a little T-bar (shown in the picture) pushed through 2 holes in the plastic tube. The squirrels can left the lid, in spite of the supporting wire being pinched closed. Then they gnaw at the top of the plastic tube to get at the seeds, and when they reach one of the two holes, the T-bar slips out and the whole thing falls to the ground, with no obvious fix except perhaps putting 2 new holes further down the plastic tube. Looks good, but is NO GOOD! Avoid this one - bad design !!! It's not even winter yet, and now I have nothing! Money wasted !!! Is there any sort of refund or guarantee???

Good Feeder By Cwolff
I bought this feeder to keep the big birds out and let the little birds in. It helps but it doesn't completely stop the big birds. They can reach the food ports by sticking their heads in. It needs to be a wider cage. I does slow them down a lot and keeps put squirrels so I am happy with it. It also has a nice big tube for the food which keeps falling on down very well.

Problem By Chasb
I wish the hanging cords were adjustable in length. I hang my bird feeders under decorative copper "umbrellas". Your hanging cords were so long the umbrellas would not have done any good. I found it difficult to shorten your hanging cords.

NOT squirrel proofe By Amateur Birder
Received this as a gift. After I put it up, was excited to see small birds getting in for seeds. Unfortunately, squirrels figured out how to jump and swing on it. While on vacation, squirrels knocked it down and demolished inside. Now useless!

Not Grackles proof and weather proof By Bernie
Easy to fill ,yes squirrel proof but not Grackles Proof so they empty the feed tube feed very fast . Cage should be wider to prevent Grackles to get feed from the tube .
Response From Perky-Pet®
Kelly : Consumer Relations Representative
Hello Bernie,

This feeder is designed to specifically keep squirrels from getting to the seed. Many types of birds can access the seed and feed from the feeder. At this time we do not offer any feeders that would deter a certain type of bird.

We apologize for any inconvenience. This feedback is appreciated and has been shared with the Product Managers. Our Consumer Relations Team can be reached at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973) with any questions.
