natural sugars found in flowers that birds feed from.
Mix one part powder concentrate with three parts water, then stir. Refrigerate any leftover nectar mixture for up
to 2 weeks.
I started using this, then switched to sugar water and the birds didn't like it as well. When I switched back I noticed they stay at the feeder a lot longer and drink a lot more. There started to be so much competition for the feeder that I ended up hanging a second feeder in a different part of the yard.
This package claims red color but when I mix it according to instructions the color is light pink. The hummingbirds are not attracted to it and after 2 days it became completely clear. I was hoping that the red color feeder would make up for the fact that the food was pink but it didn't. ?? I have purchase other companies hummingbird powdered concentrate so I just assumed this one would be red also but it is not.
