Perky-Pet® 16 oz Top Fill Glass Hummingbird Feeder
Hummingbird feeding is now easier than ever with the Perky-Pet® 16 oz Top Fill Glass Hummingbird Feeder. The patent pending technology behind this glass Top Fill Feeder allows you to simply open the cap, pour in the nectar, and you’re ready to go. Traditional bottom fill feeders only give you a small opening in the bottom of the feeder to pour your nectar, but the convenient wide mouth opening of this Top Fill safeguards against spilling while filling. Hummingbirds will be drawn to the four yellow, soft flower feeding ports. They are the most life-like flowers on the market. The built-in ant moat on the cap has the ability to be filled with water, blocking the ants from accessing the nectar.
Pour nectar directly into the wide mouth top with top fill technology
loved the top fill when i saw this in local thunder bay, ontario, canada feed shop. paid well over the list price stated heer, but once i set it out i noticed the hummers were avoiding it and going instead to the old plastic bottom fill ... then i realized the little yellow flowers were too big and close to the perch sites so i cut them much smaller and voila, the hummers were attracted again. so after spending $45.00 on it , i am extremely satisified . sending a pic of the cut down yellow flowers. have recommended to a few friends but to cut the flowers smaller

Had to return it.

Had to return it. I filled it and hung it then discovered the next day that it had all drained out on the ground below it. The top of the clear part is polished like there should be a gasket there, but there isn't. Needs a gasket, and a redesign of the screw on lid to ensure there is a tight seal.

Float leaks, is filled with ...

Float leaks, is filled with fluid so now the nectar just drains out. Feeder lasted about 5 months. It's a nice design but with poor quality control. Avoid utill they fix this and market a feeder with improved float. Sad.
quality seemed fine but the float plug in it fills with your hummingbird food which stops it from floating and closing the valve that holds the reservoir back. it just trickles out till empty. I called and they replaced it with the same feeder. which was great, but that one did the same thing. Read the reviews, it is a known problem they have not addressed! Wish I had.
DO NOT BUY THIS FEEDER IT LEAKS!

It leaks, all the syrup leaks out in a short time. Can't believe the engineer did not figure that out.
We're sorry to hear this! Be sure to check that the base is tight, and that the bottle neck threads line up correctly to help prevent leaking. For best results, we recommend hanging the feeder in the shade as well as out of high traffic or windy areas. Please feel free to contact us at 855-737-5973 for additional tips and tricks!

Was excited to buy this product. They have a good idea with filling the hummingbird nectar from the top. Problem with this hummingbird feeder is that it leaks. I followed the written instructions and also watched the video. I think this could be a good product if they fix the leak issue.
We are sorry to hear about this and appreciate your feedback. Making sure your feeder is protected from the wind will help prevent leaks. You should also protect it from the sun, since liquid expands as it gets warmer. Another tip to try is to disassemble the feeder and then re-assemble it to ensure that everything is sealed up nice and tight! If your feeder still continues to leak, it is good to know that it is covered under a 30-day return policy and a 1-year replacement policy. Please contact us at 1-855-737-5973 for assistance.

Design failure...won't hold water

This feeder perfectly fit the description of what I wanted but failed to live up to my expectations. The float in the bottom that keeps the bird food in the feeder, took on liquid after the first 2 fills and because it wouldn't float right, the water just leaked out. We never could figure out how the water got in and the float itself didn't come apart to get it out. Good concept with the float but needs work. This was not a sunlight/heat issue...The first time we discovered the leaking, I had filled it at night and left it sitting on the kitchen counter overnight...every bit leaked out, under my cooktop and down into my cabinets.
Thank you for sharing this feedback. We are sorry to learn about this recent experience with this feeder. It is covered under a one year replacement policy. Reach out to us at 1-855-737-5973 for assistance.

leaky and hard to clean.

Leaky, have to completely disassemble bottom portion and remove all flowers to prevent mildew from getting a hold. I much prefer the Oasis model. They do not hold as much, but it is much easier to clean, and just 2 parts!

How do the flowers of the 131TF differ from the 203CPBN? I have the 203CPBN Pinch-Waist Glass feeder, and want to switch to a top-fill feeder. The one I have is working well for the birds, so I'm concerned about switch the type of "flower". Or can I take the flowers from the old one and put on the new one
Question by: Leslie on Aug 31, 2023, 1:52 PM
The flowers for the two feeders are shaped after different flower types. They are not interchangeable between feeder models.
