I have unfortunately purchased 2 of these feeders.This feeder leaks and the hummingbirds were not able to access the port.I believe you should return to the older model.

First, I washed it..
I followed all directions on the back of the item.
it was Very very easy to put together. I filled it 3/4 full on it, and my hummingbirds love it. Yes, I would recommend to all thanks, perky pet
This feeder leaks from the feeder spout. Can't imagine no one tested this and didn't find this to be the case... Yet it's being sold. I saw where some folks didn't mind the leaks. But it should be at least mentioned and let the buyer know, and beware. I wonder if an angled feeder spout my work better. Just a thought.
I would not recommend this particular feeder unless you want to continually fill it, regardless of the hummingbirds feeding.
And it's pain to return it!
For those of you who are not happy with the product because it leaked ... there is a simple, easy solution: After filling the bottle with nectar, attach the red base cap first, THEN attach the yellow bee guard. The bee guard prevents (gets in the way of) the base cap from being tightened all the way, allowing the nectar to leak out. It works and the hummingbirds like it too! I have not had any problems with leaking since I reversed how to attach both items.

Bee guard poorly made

The hanging basket's yellow bee guard's mounting hole for the storage container's nipple is too large and keeps falling off. Unfortunately, one cannot find replacement bee guards to find one that might stay on.
When you find one where the bee guard is properly made, it works well.

The feeder is good . DO NOT like the fact that you cannot purchase bee guards for this feeder. Hopefully you can remedy this.

It actually only deserves 1/2 a star - great idea, horrible and faulty design. It does NOTHING but leak. I've positioned it several different ways, and currently it's in one of my hanging pots....and leaks and leaks and leaks......I should just bring it in to salvage the small amount of juice left but I've wasted enough time on this product. So badly wanted this to work - should've read the reviews first. Very disappointed.

I am looking for the bee guard for Perky Pet Brand #215P. I have bought #205Y and they are too big!! Maybe this is why the other people have trouble with them leaking! I have never had problems with leaking and we have had these feeders for years but now I can't find the #215P bee guard. Where can I obtain, order or find them?
