Great feeder By Val S.

Love this feeder. Have had it for 2 years. No problem with the suction....even in the Tennessee hot summer afternoon sun. Sent the same one to my daughter in law to enjoy with the grandkids in NJ. They love it. A hint, I always" lightly"moisten the suction cups before attaching to a clean surface.

poor feeder By margaret

Purchased 4 window feeders. One for me and three for friends. They were a complete failure. All of them fell. We can not get them to stay on the window even after following the tips. It's just too heavy. I am very disappointed. Complete waste of money.

Problem solving with window feeder By Td

See the last review. Have had mine for 3 years and yes the window must be clean. Need to buff the window a cloth after using window cleaner with paper towel. Must make sue also to push in on the suction cups to insure it has a strong suction. Pull on it before putting bottle on. Then do it again. I put 1 cup at a time and it stays in place. Check the suction ever few days to ensure it’s holding. Hope this helps others who have this problem. Great feeder.

Too heavy to be supported by the suction cups By Lola

I was looking for a feeder that I could put on my living room window and enjoy the hummers from my living room. There is no way in the world these suction cups are going to support this glad feeder...even when it's empty, it too heavy. I put just a little liquid in it, attached it to the window and BAM .. 15 seconds later it crashes to the ground.

Response From Perky-Pet®
Jennifer : Consumer Relations Representative

We apologize for this experience! To help secure the suction cups to the window, we recommend slightly moistening the cups. We also recommend keeping the window clean. If there is a smoky film on the glass, a window cleaner should be used to remove the film.

Q&A
Q.To refill do I have to take the whole feeder off the window? Can't find where the glass is portion is removable.
A.

Since this is a bottom fill feeder, it will need to be removed from the window when re-filling.

Q.Model 455-3. Can I get the mounting parts for this feeder, plastic and suction cups
A.

We apologize as replacement parts are not available. However, this feeder is covered by a 30 day return policy and a one year warranty with a copy of the purchase receipt. Please feel free to contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973) for further assistance.

Q.It has been really cold and I wonder if the feeder would fall off the window with temperature changes. Below the window is a cement walkway and I don't want it to fall and break the glass. Should I wait for warmer temperatures?
A.

We recommend removing hummingbird feeders when the temperature drops into the 40s or below. When the window becomes cold, the suction cups may not adhere well.
