The Central Flyway generally follows the Rocky Mountains. The Mississippi Flyway runs along that river and its tributaries. The Atlantic Flyway goes along the Eastern Seaboard. Most of the species include multiple flyways in their listings. These species have been recorded as using more than one of the North American Flyways.

This listing explains, in broad terms, the regions where these birds spend their

Summers and winters.

Seasons in U.S.:

If the bird species resides in the contiguous United States in the summer or winter, then those seasons will be listed here.
