Not a secure fit

I like the height and my feeder attaches well. Problem is the pole does not fit tightly in the anchor, causing it to wobble and unable to straighten. . It also is filling with water from the rain. I wish there was a way to make it more secure so that I didn’t have to worry about it blowing over. I’m also not able to attach pictures.

For the wobbling, please make sure the ground socket is driven fully into the ground and that the pole sections are firmly seated together. If the soil is loose or sandy, additional stabilization around the ground socket may help improve rigidity. To help prevent water from collecting inside the pole, ensure the top cap is installed securely and periodically drain any accumulated moisture if needed.

The circumference of the stake is too large for the extension pieces. They should’ve included a coupler or sleeve (like for a market umbrella) because without it, it’s loose and has a lot of movement, which the birds won’t like.

The ground socket is designed to fit with the extension tubes included with the pole, and when assembled correctly, the sections should provide a stable mounting system for bird feeders. I am unable to "attach" the hanger to the pole. The screw hole is stripped. The screw that is designed to hold the hanger against the pole can easily be pulled out. I bought this last year and just trying to use the pole now. Too bad I am unable to replace the hanger...

Had a problem with my bird feeders and hummingbird feeders hung in my backyard tree getting vandalized by a raccoon. The raccoon would open up the top of my squirrel proof bird feeder and have a feast. I got even more frustrated when it would climb on a branch in the tree and proceed to pull up my hummingbird feeds and then knock it to the ground. This hummingbird feeder was attached to the branch with a ten foot wire. The raccoon would then leave the wire tangled up in the tree and then rip open the feeder on the ground to drink the sugar water.
I was trying to figure out how to prevent this from happening when I came across the More Birds 78 Inch Bird Feeder Pole. It looked like a good option as I could install it away from the tree which would make it difficult for the raccoon to access the feeders. I followed the instruction and placed the pole in the backyard but far enough from the tree to keep the raccoon from jumping off a branch and onto the feeder.
The Bird Feeder Pole has worked perfectly. The raccoon can't reach the feeders but the birds love it. It is sturdy and even looks nice in my yard.

Defective part Item/Article #38128. Ground socket provided in the box is manufactured incorrectly compared to your carton contents which show a different ground socket design that would work correctly. Unable to attach files to prove my point.
