The wide bottle opening and detachable flat base make filling easy and cleaning a breeze. Cleaning: Dirty feeders spread disease. We recommend disinfecting your nectar feeders every three to five days, or more frequently if you notice your nectar has become cloudy. Do not put your feeder in the dishwasher as the high temperatures can permanently damage the feeder parts. Soak all parts in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Use a bird feeder brush to brush away grime inside the feeder.

zero stars was not an option. It is discouraging to me that this feeder is not durable enough to last even one season. The product maker is aware that the flowers and rubber gaskets fail, and yet they do not offer replacement parts. So we are to throw it away and start fresh each year??? I actually purchased three of these feeders. I do NOT recommend this product. please do better!

I don't understand others' reviews. Yes, the soft rubber inserts deteriorate over time, but that's to be expected when a soft material is out in the elements for months. The holes are a standard size, and you can easily buy a 20-pack of replacement flowers from Amazon for $6.99. The feeder itself is a great size, easy to clean, easy to fill, and I love the built-in ant moat. I got my feeder as a hand-me-down two years ago, and the flowers are just starting to show some wear. All other parts are still in perfect condition.

The design is fantastic but the the purple inserts that hold the white flowers literally deteriorate. Looks like everybody else complained as well. When I called the people at the company they asked if it was in the shade or direct sunlight. I said yes it's in direct sunlight, they said well it should be in the shade. Thats nuts. But they did offered a free replacement, so kudos for that.

Replacement parts request - After reading several of these reviews I am experiencing the same issue that others have with the rubber center of the flowers deteriorating. I was told by the agent who I just spoke with that there are no replacements flowers at this time. Thankfully, my feeder was still under the 1 yr warranty and it will be replaced by More Birds. May I just say that this company has always honored their warranty and I have been satisfied immensely with their customer service. Happy birding everyone!

Product failure! The feeder itself is fine, unfortunately the little purple soft plastic bee guards, which insert into the center of the flowers (and also connect the flowers to the feeder), are not. They deteriorate very quickly. The feeder has been outside since mid-April, when I bought it, so it’s unacceptable that the inserts are ruined in such a short amount of time. I haven’t used bleach to clean the feeder, only soap and water. REPLACEMENT pieces should be made available on this site, at no cost to the customer.

This is the best disposable hummingbird feeder out there. It is perfect, except that Purple rubber tubes wear out in a year and a half. Your company should include a set of replacement flowers and rubber tubes, and a little bottle brush inside the kit when selling it. Also you should sell replacements on your website.
Also, the ant moat does not work because water leaks through the holes where the hanger goes. It could be designed to work, People just buy a separate ant moat.

I have used these feeders for years they are my hummers favorite. I am finding the purple rubber inserts in the flowers are coming apart after time while all the rest of feeder is fine and have read that you do not offer those as a replacement but suggest looking on amazon. Amazon only has hard plastic flowers that sometimes are sharp inside I will not use them. I cannot understand why the company does not offer these as a replacement especially when so many are asking for them. I will be looking into replacing those feeders with different feeders next season. Very disappointed!

If I remove the flower inserts with the rubber, can I put the rest of the feeder in the dishwasher? I will, of course, wash it by hand afterwards to remove any residue. I just can't get all the crevices as well as I'd like.

We recommend cleaning the feeder with warm water and mild dish soap only. Please do not place our feeders in the dishwasher, as this may damage the product. If your feeder has a small neck or hard-to-reach areas, you can add a spoonful of rice with a dab of dish soap, fill the feeder two-thirds full with water, and shake well to help clean the crevices. Be sure to also scrub the feeding ports, cap, and bee guards thoroughly.
