This sturdy metal feeder includes a built-in socket to mount to any 1 in. diameter pole. Its large perching area provides space for multiple birds to feed simultaneously. The roof design helps keep seeds dry from rain and snow, while its built-in seed diverter and drainage holes help keep seeds fresh. With a weather-resistant moccasin & hammered copper finish and durable metal and plexiglass construction, the More Birds® Large Hopper Bird Feeder with Suet Holders is the ideal feeder for attracting a wide variety of birds to your yard.
Cleaning: Dirty bird feeders spread disease. We recommend cleaning your feeders weekly, or monthly at a minimum. Do not put your feeder in the dishwasher as the high temperatures can permanently damage the feeder parts. Clean your feeders outdoors with a large bucket, and always wear gloves when cleaning. Soak your feeder in a 9:1 solution of water and bleach for 15 minutes. Then use a bird feeder brush to scrub the feeder with dish soap and water. Refill when completely dry.

BUYER BEWARE! This feeder needs to be taken off the market. I have had two goldfinches get trapped INSIDE the feeder. I saw the first one in time to rescue it, but the second one was not so lucky. The design of this feeder is hazardous to small birds as they can clearly get trapped inside. Since this happened more than once in the same week, it was not a fluke, but a true design flaw. Do the right thing and stop selling this feeder. I purchased this feeder at Tractor Supply.

This feeder kills wild birds.

This feeder kills wild birds. The tilted ramps under the suet holders that are supposed to be for gathering crumbs-can pose a risk to birds trying to feed with multiple birds. A bird got its head stuck between the bottom of the suet holder cage and the top of the ramp on the bottom seed gathering piece. This poor bird suffered. Please fix this or take these off the market Do not buy this feeder. I have immense guilt now for not seeing the bird was stuck and knowing it suffered.

The bird feeder I ordered is not what I received. Sadly, this was a Christmas present and all paperwork and box it arrived in were destroyed. The bird feeder that was sent was already owned by the recipient. Needless to say I am very disappointed.
