Perky-Petยฎ Double Decker Hummingbird Feeder - 26 oz
Two feeders in one means twice the hummingbird fun! The Perky-Petยฎ Double Decker Plastic Hummingbird Feeder offers two great hanging options โ hang it as one large 2-tier feeder, or separate it into two smaller feeders and hang them side by side. Itโs a great option for keeping the peace if you have territorial hummers. This feeder will easily accommodate tons of hummingbird guests, thanks to the eight feeding ports with comfortable vine-style perches.
When stacked together, this hummingbird feeder holds 26 oz of nectar so thereโs plenty to go around. The top feeder offers a 9 oz capacity, while the bottom feeder holds 17 oz of nectar. Plus, the clear plastic reservoirs allow you to monitor nectar levels at a glance so you never run out. For your convenience, this feeder is also easy to clean. It can be completely disassembled, so you can access all the nooks and crannies.

We are sorry to hear about this! Be sure to check that the base is tight, and that the bottle neck threads line up correctly to help prevent leaking. For best results, we recommend hanging the feeder in the shade as well as out of high traffic or windy areas. If you continue to be unhappy with your purchase, you may contact the original retailer for assistance with a refund.

I bought one and the hummingbirds liked it so much I bought a second one. I hang the top and bottom pieces out separately in different locations in a lilac bush, each piece is suspended from an ant moat as I did have problems with ants. I get ruby-throats here in Maine and they seem to favor the bottom piece. Putting all the pieces together takes a little practice but now I hardly have to think about it. Any leakage mentioned in the reviews may be due to incorrect assemblage.
At first, I had some difficulty putting the top feeder together after filling it. But once i looked inside and saw how it was supposed to fit together, it was easy. Tightened it down, put it with the bottom feeder, hung it outside with my other 6 feeders. Two of my feeders just outside my bedroom window are the high demand feeders. I have videos of over two dozen hummingbirds vying for a spot, which is funny because between the two, there are only 4 feeding ports. However, once I added the double decker, there were plenty of feeders to handle the overflow. Took them about 10 minutes to start using it. Then 2 little hummers claimed it for their own, even perching on a clothesline to guard it. Love it. In the picture, you will see many hummingbirds using the new Double Decker feeder. Thanks for a great feeder!
Hummingbirds love it, but so do the yellow jackets. They weren’t an issue until I added these to my yard, sometimes I’d finde 5 or 6 on one flower. The yellow jackets chased the hummingbirds and the honey bees, and i was stung twice. After I pulled these from my yard I have way less yellow jackets. I really liked the design for the price, as did the birds, but flower shapes made it way too attractive for the yellow jackets.
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear the yellow jackets became a problem! When this happens, we recommend removing the feeders for a few days and checking for leaks. Please give us a call at 855-737-5973 with any questions!

waste of money

This is garbage. I thought it was cool at first since you can use it as 2 separate feeders. I decided to try the smaller feeder first instead of both parts and then when i washed it, the bottom red pieces and O ring assembly do not go back together. I tried it with and without the O ring and there's no way these snap back together. I don't see any form of clip, and they dont twist in either. So, it's good for one use and that's it. Total waste of money. Called tech support and they have no idea about it either and didn't have one handy so I could talk them through what I meant.
The lid of the bottom feeder should click into place and be secured in the base of the top feeder.ย I'm so sorry to hear this didn't work for you! Please feel free to give us a call at 855-737-5973 or email us from our Contact Us page for further help.

Waste of money on this one

This was a waste of good money. My Hummers will not use this feeder. My thought is that it gets air into the nectar part and then the Hummers get nothing. I had it out for three days with no takers.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear this!ย Birds are creatures of habit and can take some time to adjust to a new feeder.ย You may want to try relocating the feeder to another area in your yard.ย Placing the feeder near a fresh water source is a great way to help birds find it. Please contact us atย 1-855-737-5973 with any questions!
